Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Pure Elation Horseform is a very promising filly, now the winner two of five starts, and she put up a smart effort in taking out this Group race. She settled nicely in sixth place, one off the rails, improved well nearing the home turn, dashed clear at 200m and went on to win easily.

Fiesta Horseform was a bit slowly away, settled in seventh place on the rails, switched deeper and into clear running shortly after straightening. She went to second approaching the 100m and battled on well for a good second.

The well-supported Outback Barbie Horseform  raced in fifth place on the rails but was held up for clear running on turning for home. She got a split at the 150m and then battled on nicely along the rails for third.

Gongs Horseform raced back in eighth place, tracked the winner into straight, and kept fighting on for (1.6 lengths) fourth.
