Northam: Race 7 @ 6:45pm (AEST)

PARIS TEXAS returned in great order at this track last start when far too good over 1000m. Rates well off the back of that effort and remains open to sharp improvement racing second up. The Wizard links aboard for the first time and she should prove hard to beat despite the wide draw. FAIR NAKITA continued her solid run of form last start when finishing a close fourth over 1100m. Drops back slightly in grade and while drawn awkwardly, she still looms as a major threat with Noske sticking aboard. COOL KNIGHT has displayed plenty of ability in his three starts to this point and he has to be kept safe stepping out for Team Williams. Rates well and looms as a major threat. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #5 Paris Texas.

$3.70 is Paris Texa’s current price.

Using Ladbrokes Odds boost however, $4.00 is available.

Kilmore: Race 4 @ 2:30pm

Old Farm Road from the middle of the line should take it up. WRITTEN ADDICTION has only been fair this campaign albeit in harder grade. Made steady headway on them at Geelong ten days ago. Better form has come over this trip so back to the 1200m appears to suit. Hasn't won in over a year but with Damian Lane piloting should get every chance. OLD FARM ROAD looks your leader and could give a sight. Has finished runner-up twice this campaign with a failure on the Synthetic in the interim. Senior rider goes on and despite the slight class rise he has proven himself in it previously. SHE'S BENEFICIAL third-up is set to peak. SELECTIONS: Written Addiction for the win- Expect Lane to get the best out of him.

Hawkesbury: Race 6 @ 3:10pm

PROMAS was fair on resuming with a fifth over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Will be fitter for the run and now drops back to provincial level. Has an excellent second up record and this shapes as a nice race for her. WAVE REVIEWS was fair on resuming at the same Warwick Farm meeting. Open to sharp improvement based on the best he produced while in the UK. TEXAS SPUR also in the mix off a last start maiden win. SELECTIONS:Straight out #5 Promas. Appeals second up back in grade from #4 and #9.

Townsville: Race 5 @ 3:52pm

Looks a clear race in two and happy to side with OLD SMOKEY who has been racing well enough in much tougher company of late. Drawn to get a good run around midfield from barrier 3 and Adrian Coome goes on first time today. Fourth up now should be ready to fire and looks right up to winning a race like this. THURSTON is a candidate to lead and the ex-Waller galloper comes off a last start win at this course over 1609m. Drops back in trip for this and is likely to be right in the finish again today. RANKED returned in good order with a third placing last start and also comes into consideration. SELECTIONS: #4 Old Smokey for the win but include Thurston in the quinella as it looks a race in two.

Gunnedah: Race 9 @ 4:40pm (AEST)

Yours Truthfully from the positive alley is expected to take it up. A MAGIC ZARIZ gets the nod with less convictions. Has been a model of consistency this time in with his only two failures happening after being slow to begin. Back up to 1400m is ideal and with a slight weight relief after the claim appears the one to beat. TIME STRIPPER was blocked for a run when fourth at Newcastle last start. Is sure to have admirers down in grade but three from 23 is the big knock. MAYBE EVEN YOU and IMAGE OF LOVE round out the remaining chances. SELECTIONS: Siding with A Magic Zariz carrying less convictions.

Pakenham: Race 8 @ 9.30pm

OCTOBER TUTU has won third up before so should be peaking after running on well to finish close up in both runs this time in. The longer trip should suit having won at this trip before and is proven on this track. MAGWITCH deserves a win having been runner up at all three starts this campaign and was just nosed out on the all weather at Geelong last start. CRITICAL RHYTHM has his first synthetic run but is racing well winning two of three runs this campaign. SELECTIONS: Win bet #4 October Tutu - he can peak third up from #2 and #1.
