Warwick Farm: Race 5 @ 3:10pm

Rakhish takes it up. CHALMERS is racing consistently this campaign. Took a sharp class rise in his stride at Rosehill 11 days ago. Easier here and well drawn. Has placed in three of his four starts on rain affected ground. TORYJOY drops back in grade after holding her own in stronger company at Randwick last start. Shed her maiden tag here over 1300m the start prior. Should be peaking fourth up and is bred to relish the mile. RAKHISH resumed with a maiden success at Wyong three weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a Randwick trial since then. Another who should appreciate the mile based on pedigree. CORMAC racing consistently. Track proven and capable on rain affected ground. SELECTIONS: #2 Chalmers for the win.

$3.80 is Chalmer’s current price.

Using Ladbrokes Odds boost however, $4.00 is available.

Sandown: Race 4 @ 2:10pm

The Willybe will be prominent from barrier one and Music To Midnight may work right across and press the pace. HANG MAN will have to do more to win here than what he did winning last time but he looks the one in the field with the most upside and he is fancied to keep improving and stay the trip well. Ran into a handy one at Warrnambool when well backed and then made amends last time. 2400m looks his go. EUROMAN has been in good forma and ratings stack up strongly. MY PSYCHIATRIST lacks his upside but is racing well and the same could be said for TEA FOR CHOUX who arrives off a solid win last time. Midas Man can be considered off a similar winning effort last time. SELECTIONS: Hang Man can improve on by these.

Toowoomba: Race 6 @ 2:53pm

Good speed in this with Shear Vogue the most likely to take it up from Sol Witness and Crusher. TE AMO put two wins together before going on to finish runner up over 1200m at the Gold Coast last start. A lot to like about her recent form and fourth up now she should be ready to show her best. FOX FORCE FIVE returned in good order when third at this course last start and should improve off that effort second up. Looms as the main danger with CRUSHER who has been good in both outings this campaign at this course albeit in easier company over shorter trips. SELECTIONS: Happy to take the short odds about Te Amo for the win.

Wyong: Race 7 @ 3:50pm

Dreamy Belle should lead with Classify keeping her honest. ALASSIO showed plenty of determination to win at Kembla Grange on debut. Waterhouse/Bott have left no stone unturned in her recent trials and a big first-up showing is on the cards. CLASSIFY is another smart debut winner who resumes. Didn't catch the eye as much in her trials but that could just be the stables way of training. Draws inside here and looms as a big threat. DREAMY BELLE appears the leader. May lack the class of a few others but is fit and honest.SELECTIONS: Alassio gets the nod.

Strathalbyn: Race 8 @ 4:45pm (AEST)

GRAND ARMADA is racing well having placed at his past two starts and won his last visit to this course last month. His record here is strong and he is also a three-time winner at the distance. Big chance from the inside stall. SCROLL is racing well with two wins and a close second from his past four starts. Toughed it out well last start. Chance again. CAUSE WE CAN could progress off a last-start maiden win at the track and trip. SELECTIONS: #1 Grand Armada for the win. Saving on #4 Scroll.

Belmont: Race 8 @ 6:45pm (AEST)

NORDIC KING won on debut and has improved the two runs since. Finds easier and can win with the 3kg claim off a nice gate. MASSA MAC has made the quinella the last two and they stack up. He’s ready. FROSTY HEART led winning the Maiden FU and he will get every chance to repeat controlling from the rail. NO ORDINARY GIRL draws well and is a fourth up winner who will be right in at best. SELECTIONS: The in-form Durrant yard has strong chances all day and # 1 Nordic King may be the best of them. (Like Durrant’s # 2 Truly Belong in the previous from # 3 Men Of Mukinbudin and will also play them in the R 7 – R 8 running double).
