Flemington: Race 7 @ 4:15pm

Sambro goes forward on the quick back up with All Too Huiying up there. Prince Of Arran can be among those handy. SAMBRO has to turn around quickly for this but looks mighty hard to beat on the strength of his Carbine Club run where he was gunned down in the shadows of the post by smart winner Levendi. Strong formlines for this and has to be considered the horse to beat. IRISH VEGA comes off the same race and has big upside off that performance so looms as a threat. Away from that form SKY BOY looks a sharp improver for a stable that have targetted and won this race with similar. Sweet Victory is going places and his dominant display last time brings him under notice. SELECTIONS: Good race. Sky Boy looks an appealing each way play.

$6.50 is Sky Boy’s current price.

Using Ladbrokes Odds boost however, $7.50 is available.

Hawkesbury: Race 3 @ 1:55pm

JUNGLIZED was no match for the progressive Shantou first up, however his effort still held plenty of merit and he remains open to sharp improvement racing second up. Drawn to find the front and should prove hard to get past with Reith sticking aboard. HURRICANE HARBOUR flopped prior to a break however his form in the lead up to that was very good and he has to be kept safe fresh. Drawn well and looms as a major threat. KENNEDY also a big watch in his return, his sole trial in the lead up was very good. SELECTIONS: Keen to be with #3 Junglized.

Warrnambool: Race 4 @ 3:10pm

Arcadian will push forward from the inside draw to take up the lead. MANDJAR raced well enough in tougher last campaign and returns today having been gelded since last seen with winkers on first time. Does his best racing when fresh and shapes up as the one to beat today. ARCADIAN returned well when runner up before going on to win at St Arnaud last time out. Drawn to get the rails run and certainly stays under notice. FARNOR WEST returned well when third last start and is next best. SELECTIONS: #1 Mandjar for the win.

Pakenham: Race 5 @ 3.19pm

J'STAR was caught wide last start so did a good job to keep coming and run third at Swan Hill. Has won third up before so can peak and the addition of blinkers could give her a lift. DAWN'S SUNRISE is another coming into this third up off an improved effort last time when runner up at Ballarat. Has a good record at this distance. FOR A SONG has claims if she can recapture the form that saw her score first up at Seymour. SELECTIONS: #1 J'Star can peak and win third up from #4 and #2.

Gawler: Race 5 @ 4:25pm (AEDT)

ROPEADOPE boxed on well when fourth in city Saturday grade last start. Big drop in benchmark today and had decent Victorian form before that. SPIEGEL GROVE is racing well having won at this course after a wide run and was a solid third last time at this distance. Has a good record at this course and can be in it for a long way from a good draw. OVERSTREET wasn't far away last start and has claims. SELECTIONS: Backing #3 Ropeadope to win dropping back in grade from #4 and #2.

R7 FLEMINGTON 9 November 2017
Seppelt Wines Stakes 3 , 1800m
Race Synopsis: The Gary Moore-trained colt All Too Huiying staged a very promising effort, advancing in class after recent wins at Wyong and Hawkesbury to take out this Listed race, his third win in 12 starts to date. He went to the front and then travelled along nicely at a good tempo. He was challenged rounding the home turn but responded well for Michael Walker and kept fighting back strongly to score a good win, running the 1800m out well. Black Sail raced in fourth place but caught wide. He moved up (still deep) at the home turn. He challenged strongly at the 200m and then battled gamely for a good second. Sky Boy raced in seventh place, improved (wide with cover) from the 800m, challenged at the 300m and the fought on well for a very good third. Savaheat raced back in ninth place, got clear at the 200m and ran on nicely for (2.8 lengths) fourth. The favourite Sambro missed the start and was a clear last early on. He looked for a run between runners on straightening, got clear at the 200m and made good late ground for (3.8 lengths) sixth, looking unlucky, while the second favourite Sweet Victory had a good trip in third place on the rails but weakened to finish (6.5 lengths) 11th, looking tested by the 1800m journey.
