Yankee Rose was safely accounted for on resuming from a ten month spell in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on September 2 with trainer David Vandyke reporting the mare was lame in the near fore post race.

It has been confirmed the daughter of All American has now run her last race.

The announcement officially ends a career which returned four wins and two placings from ten career starts with prizemoney earnings in excess of $2million.

Yankee Rose Horseform was a dual Group 1 winner, claiming the Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m) as a two-year-old before becoming the first filly to win a Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) when claiming the 2016 renewal.Racing And Sports
