RACE 3 (7) ESTIJAAB: Her brilliant debut win over 1000m at Randwick in fast time showed she has the talent to justify her $1.7 million price tag as a yearling. The way she put four lengths on her rivals over the last 200m was all class and she again looked top shelf when she had the measure of Gongs in a fast trial win over 799m at Warwick Farm last week when she cruised at her own speed in the lead. Inside draw with the rail out 6 metres on her home track is a huge advantage in this hot field.

RACE 4 (4) TREKKING: Time and patience was always going to be the key to getting the best out of this raw talent and now that he has been gelded the stage is set for him to show what he is really made of. Ideally placed in this grade first-up considering his efforts against the likes of Trapeze Artist, Menari and Merchant Navy in earlier preps and his recent Randwick trial when a strong second was a perfect lead into this event. Drawn to camp on the back of the leaders and with the rail out 6 metres he is the one who should get all the favours.

RACE 6 (9) CARZOFF: Fit and honest gelding steps into open company after a sequence of excellent efforts under big weights in Benchmark events, topped off by his last start win over 2000m at Randwick under 59.5kg. That was five weeks ago but Chris Waller excels with this type of progressive middle distance performer and a solid 1200m trial at Randwick 12 days ago coupled with his excellent record on his home course has him primed to exploit the massive 6.5kg drop from his last start that gives him a vital weight advantage over his main rivals.
