Updates on stewards' follow-ups to Friday and Sunday meetings

Singapore March Meeting 2019- Friday, 08 March 2019:

RACE 3 [TF0293]

On Monday, 11 March 2019, Trainer D Kok advised that DAVID’S STAR (I Saifudin) pulled hard during the race from an outside barrier, and he will look for a similar race later this month for the gelding, where he is hoping for a good draw and that DAVID’S STAR will settle better.

RACE 6 [TF0296]

On Monday, 11 March 2019, Trainer KS Tan advised that SPUR ME ON (App A Syahir) pulled up well, and attributed the performance to the gelding not backing up for the third week in a row. He will now give SPUR ME ON a slight break before continuing with its preparation.

RACE 8 [TF0298]

On Monday, 11 March 2019, Trainer S Burridge advised that VERIZON (S Noh) was a little disappointing, but not beaten far. He added that he had removed the blinkers to see if the gelding would begin better than it has been doing, and also due to the fact it was back in distance, however, believes they need to be added again as VERIZON raced a little flat without them. He further added the gelding has pulled up well, and will continue with the current preparation, stepping VERIZON back up to 1600m.

RACE 8 [TF0298]

On Monday, 11 March 2019, Trainer L Khoo advised that although SMOOTH OPERATOR (G Boss) had pulled up well, it will be given a freshen up following its run, and then look to continue with its preparation

 RACE 8 [TF0298]

On Monday, 11 March 2019, Mr. Graham Forbes, Trainer D Logan’s B Trainer, advised that STORM TO WIN (JP Van Der Merwe) has pulled up well, and would benefit from the run. The gelding will now be stepped up in distance.
