Golden State beat Cleveland 4 -1 in the finals of 2016-17 NBA championships to win their second NBA title in three seasons.

The Warriors won Monday’s game 129 -120 with Kevin Durant scoring 39 points while Stephen Curry chipped in with 34.

The Warriors won in 2014-15 finals while the Cavaliers clinched last year’s title with a showdown from LeBron James.

For the Cleveland Cavaliers James scored 41 points while his teammate Kyrie Irving scored 26 points in the match.

According to Warriors Durant the Cavaliers were a top opposition offering a tight game throughout the match.

The Warriors with a solid record of 15 consecutive wins took a 3-0 lead in the series but lost the fourth in Cleveland before winning the decider breaking an eight point deficit.
