Ellyse Perry is among four elite Australian women's cricketers to take part in an IPL-style exhibition match in India next week.

Perry and Australia teammates Alyssa Healy, Megan Schutt and Beth Mooney will play in the one-off women's exhibition game in Mumbai.

The women's match played before the first IPL qualifier at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday.

The Australian quartet are among eight international cricketers joining Indian players to comprise the two teams.

"Another awesome development for women's cricket," Perry posted on Twitter.

England's Danielle Wyatt and Danielle Hazell and New Zealanders Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine will be the other internationals to feature in the exhibition game.
