Australia’s paceman Josh Hazlewood has become the No 1 bowler in ICC’s ODI rankings with a haul of 6-52 against the Kiwis at the washed out game in their Champions trophy encounter earlier this month.

Hazelwood claimed nine wickets in the Aussies’ short-lived campaign ahead of Mitchell Starc, Imran Tahir and Kagiso Rabada on the ICC's ODI bowling charts.


Before Hazelwood, Starc ranked fist at ODI rankings following Aussies’ successful campaign at the World Cup.

Indian captain Virat Kohli meanwhile passed Australia’s David Warner as the top ODI batsman.

Australia’s Stint at the Champions Trophy was short-lived with two of their preliminary games abandoned due to bad weather. England beat Australia in a rain affected third match ending their trophy hopes abruptly.
