Arlington Park's big day is on Saturday with some great racing in view, headed by the G1 Arlington Million.

There are 13 runners going to post and in this turf 2000m it is the raiders who hold the call, with Deauville on 7/4 for the O'Brien-Moore combo, followed by Mekhtaal 4/1 for Rouget-Dettori and the top of the locals Beach Patrol Brown-Rosario on 13/2. We will add to this the great The Pizza Man on 11/1 - he loves it here and comes out of gate 7 which we are told is the winningest gate.

The American St Leger is G3 on turf over 2700m with 8 to run and Mike Maker is one of the best trainers (or should we say best of the few trainers) of stayers and he saddles Taghleeb 2/1 and Keystoneforvictory 5/2.

The Secretariat is G1 over 2000m for 3yos with 6 runners and looks ripe for the raiders with Mark Johnston's Permian on 9/5 with Buick riding just ahead of the home side's Oscar Performance on 8/5.

The Beverly D is for f&m G1 over 1900m turf with 10 runners and it looks like a great battle between the South American breds with the Argentinian Dona Bruja on 7/2 following two wins from two starts in the US and a stellar record at home never finishing out of the frame, and the Chilean daughter of Scat Daddy Dacita on 4/1. Rain Goddess is also here on 5/1 for the Coolmore crowd.

At Saratoga there are two graded stakes - the Adirondack Gr 2 is over 1300m with 8 2yo fillies and the market headed by Pletcher's Pure Silver on 2/1, with Sly Roxy 5/2 and Southampton Row 5/1.

The Fourstardave G1 is over 1600m on the turf for 3y+ and 7 run headed by Test Time 8/5 Brown-
