Craven Meeting at Newmarket
Things start to get serious from now on with the running of two famous G3s - the Earl of Sefton and the Nell Gwyn.
The Earl of Sefton looks like it might be a contest between the Stoute and Appleby yards with both entering two horses.
Appleby has Folkswood with William Buick on board at 11/4, and Viren's Army with the recently returned James Doyle riding.
Stoute has Autocratic at 11/2 with Ryan Moore riding and Abdon with Dettori riding for his retainers Al Shaqab.
The Nell Gwyn has some delightful fillies - 11 of them - for the 1400m run which will probably be a bit short for some of these but it will be good to see how they are coming along. We love Roly Poly who has survived her name and become a seriously good prospect even if she bombed out in the Breeders' Cup but that's not to be held against her. 10/3, Ryan Moore will ride and her stablemate Brave Anna
value on 6/1. Very interesting runner coming from Andre Fabre in France - Pamplemousse on 7/2. Sea Of Grace has recently moved to William Haggas and is 9/2.
