Three-year-old filly Flying Aurora, racing in blinkers for the first time, put up a good effort to win here at her second start after a very slow beginning. She was a clear last in the 11-horse field on settling before improving to eighth on the rails passing the 800m. She stuck to the rails rounding the home turn, got through to fourth at the 300m and then finished too well to score in good style. *ANZ
