Zephyron scored a most impressive victory coming from a handy position sixth one off the fence in a solidly run race. He was travelling well approaching the home turn and made his move on cornering four and five wide. He sprinted right away in the straight and score a most soft victory. Precedence came from ninth on the fence. He travelled nicely into the race but had to wait on a run between horses which came at the top of the straight. He worked home gamely to the line but could not pick up the winner who scored with a bit in hand. *ANZ
