It was a mixed bag for the Saturday Multi crew last weekend, with the abandonment of Randwick leaving us with just two legs needing to salute for a collect.

Fast Talking duly saluted, but our other selection Tarex didn't have the best of luck in running, leaving us hanging once again.

We've gone back to the safe option this weekend, with all three legs just needing to place, while the multi makes it's way up to the Northern Territory for the first time.

Check it out below.

Rosehill Race 4 Number 2 NARRATED Place ($1.60, Ladbrokes)

An ever-consistent type from an incredibly talented stable, this mare presents as the only noted leader in race that doesn't appear to hold much speed. She will get another wet track to her liking and reunites with Nash who's 1/1 when piloting. Rock-hard fit, Nash should be able to jump this girl straight to the front from barrier 4 and dictate proceedings.

Moonee Valley Race 4 Number 2 STORM KING Place ($2.45)

This gelding brings the best last start rating into the event and would've won with a kinder run in transit last time out, after doing a mountain of work in the run. He gets a much better map from barrier 4 here, and can either lead or sit just behind. Hard to see him missing the frame.

Fannie Bay (Darwin) Race 7 Number 9 IDEAS MAN Place ($2.25)

The Saturday Multi makes it's NT debut with this son of Brazen Beau. He bought up the hat-trick with an impressive win over 1100m last time out and continues to improve with every start on the Fannie Bay surface. He drops 3kg from his latest effort and Dean Holland makes the trip up to ride. Drawn to receive every chance and although 1200m is some query, we're confident he can finish in the money.

Put them all together and $8.82 pops up with Ladbrokes on Thursday afternoon.
