Australian TAB thoroughbred meetings are today held at Moruya, Cowra, Bendigo, the Sunshine Coast, Port Augusta, Kalgoorlie, Devonport and Coleraine.

MORUYA: RACE 1 @ 12:41PM: PRIDE OF PENRAF (7) went down narrowly at short odds on debut, then headed to Canterbury and did a lot wrong to end his campaign. Drawn ideally for Alysha Collett, expect him to work to the front and be mighty hard to gun down. I AM MIGHTY (5) was caught wide and without cover first-up, and was caught on heels toward the end of the race, eventually beaten 2.1L. Back to country level today and must be included. FORBES (1) is a newcomer to the Greg Backhouse yard. He was second to Anamoe in the Listed Merson Cooper in 2020, but hasn't gone on with it since. Has plenty of class on his day and can threaten in this much easier race today. RESET AND RUN (4) is on debut and trialled well leading into today. Watch for market moves.

SELECTIONS: Pride Of Penraf can break his maiden.

As a FREE Racing and Sports offer, below is the Computer Card for today's meeting at Moruya.

DEVONPORT SYNTHETIC: RACE 3 @ 12:51PM: PROPHET EYES (5) did a few things wrong last time out but still had the audacity to finish runner-up over this track and trip. Again gets the benefit of Baker's 2kg claim and expected to give a bold sight again. LACERATE (3) has placed four of seven over this course and distance and will be rock-hard fit for this. Has to be included. ANGELI (14) strips fitter second-up and can improve sharply. FEISTY LION (2) best of the rest on the back of a last-start third here.

SELECTIONS: Prophet Eyes to win.

PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 2 @ 1:35PM: DE LONG STAR (7) is a Victorian who was only beaten 2.2L the latest on the Pakenham synthetic and that improved effort reads well for this. Can win if the market moves his way. AUGUSTA POWER (1) is the danger. Has placed here the last two and is improving. Has a low gate and a 2kg claimer goes on. GALLANT RUN (3) has been mixing distances. Led here well-supported the latest and folded up late. He can stick on better over the shorter sprint. MISS ALCANNABIE (6) debuts and won a recent trial on this surface. Has a low gate and is a betting watch.

SELECTIONS: De Long Star appeals.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 3 @ 1:45PM: CANNY BE BETTER (1) runs along and missed a lip first-up at Ipswich. Orman sticks and will use the inside barrier. Fitter and has the figures to be winning. SON OF MERCURY (5) switched from the top Victorian barn to premier Gollan stable and was okay first-up when expected to need it. He's right up to this at best and expect sharp improvement with the blinkers going on again. CARRY ON DRAGON (9) is an improver in the mix with a good ride. EXTORTIONIST (2) did plenty wrong on debut, but is in a powerhouse stable and a better performance is expected.

SELECTIONS: Backing Canny Be Better.

COLERAINE: RACE 3 @ 1:55PM: BEDFORD (6) is a city class flat performer who turned in an encouraging effort at his Hurdle debut last start when third behind talented types Hostar and Heir To The Throne who has since won in town. Look for him to go close with natural improvement. SKY HERO (3) was no match for potential superstar Stern Idol last start but was a handy winner the start prior. This race suits better and he can figure in the finish without surprising. DR DEPENDABLE (4) found the rise in grade too much in the National last week when down the track. He was a good winner the start prior when beating an unlucky Heir To The Throne who did a few things wrong. LATIN BEAT (8) is more seasoned now and has Trialed well in preparation. Include in the exotics.

SELECTIONS: Bedford can go close in a competitive affair.

COWRA: RACE 6 @ 3:35PM: DESHAWN (2) has followed up his win three back with two solid placings in this grade. Relishes the sting out of the surface and has won 3/4 at this course. Bold showing expected. SILVER SCISSORS (7) chased soundly into the placings when resuming at Wellington. Strips fitter this time and has run well second up before. Sure to be thereabouts. OUR BLUE MOON (10) can run a good race third-up and stepping out in trip. COOPELLA (4) is in good touch and was a third-up winner last campaign. Expect a bold showing.

SELECTIONS: Backing Deshawn to win.

BENDIGO: RACE 7 @ 4:20PM: POUNDING (4) missed a lip resuming in stronger than this and it was a tough effort. The back-form is just as good and he gets a 2kg claim in stronger grade. He's right up to this but the wide barrier has to be managed. DIVINE DIOSA (10) resumes and is certainly good enough at best. He will race over further but has a strong record this distance and goes fresh. Will likely get back and need some luck. CERBERUS (1) resumes for a new barn, but was tested in Group company at the end of last campaign. He'll want further, but was placed first-up last campaign. Mustn't be discounted. DOTHRAKI (12) has been in great form of late and can continue his run.

SELECTIONS: Sticking with Pounding.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 8 @ 4:45 PM: SEEABLE (1) scored by 3.5 lengths last start at this track over this distance. Has a very good record over today's journey including two wins from three starts. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Leading contender. FEUDING (9) won his maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at his last two runs, most recently when second over 1400m at this track. Fair record at this trip with a win and two minors and is right in this. BILL THE BEE (6) raced on the pace before fading to finish fourth, beaten one length, over 1607m last time out. Blinkers come off. Expected to be competitive. AGENT KENSINGTON (4) went close last time out over this track and trip and should strip fitter. Must be kept safe.

SELECTIONS: Seeable to win.
