Last Saturday's multi was over before it even got going, with Zaaki crowned 'Flop Of The Week' in the Racing and Sports Weekend Review podcast (which you can listen to here), after an abysmal effort in the Doomben Cup.

Our WA hopeful, Red Can Man, was rolled by a promising gelding who has eyes for the G1 Winterbottom in November, which left our longest priced runner of the multi the only one to get the job done in Much Much Better, who filled a placing at a lovely $4.

It's Oaks Day in Queensland, and as much as we both think Gypsy Goddess is the one to beat, we settled with a more relaxed style of multi this weekend, with only Sydney and Melbourne featuring.

It'll be a long wait through the afternoon, but we believe it'll be well worth it for the double-digit price on offer.

Rosehill Race 5 Number 5 MILITARY MISSION Win ($1.70, Ladbrokes)

This fella looked all but certain to make it three on the bounce last time at Gosford only to be edged out late. Rise in trip looks to suit and drops significantly in the weights. Maps to get an uncontested lead and looks to be a gelding on the improve, unlike most of his challengers. Should be a go to woah job.

Rosehill Race 10 Number 8 DYNAMIC IMPACT Place ($2.90)

Comes through the Scone meeting where he was an eye-catcher over the closing stages. A read of the sectionals tell us that he could've been closer at the finish had he run the race more efficiently, as he left himself too much work to do over the closing stages. Josh Parr hops aboard today from a decent alley, he's a three-time winner over this trip and he is a winner second-up. He can fill a placing for us.

Flemington Race 9 Number 5 SQUID GAME - Place ($2.70)

Started favourite against the progressive Star Patrol first-up and had no luck when a tiring runner fell in his lap at the 350m point. He's trialled well since that effort, and the drop back to 1100m isn't the worst thing for him. Hoping Micky Dee can get him into the clear and allow the three-year-old to show off his impressive finishing burst to fill a placing, sending us out on top.

All together, you can grab $13.65 with Ladbrokes (Thursday 1:45pm).

For more of our thoughts, listen to the podcast in the player below. Good luck!
