Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Grafton, Narrandera, Murtoa, Pakenham, Sunshine Coast, Carnarvon, Devonport and Alice Springs.

HAWKESBURY: RACE 7 @ 4:00PM

Straya Pride (2) was up sharply in grade when failing to make an impression at Randwick behind Kalino on June 25. Back in grade today and has a liking for the Hawkesbury circuit. MIHOCEK (1) should be close to his peak fourth-up and will appreciate the class drop also. Drifted back from the wide gate last start and never got into the race. Claim helps and can turn things around. SOLOIST (7) is trained on the track and can go on with the job today after scoring a gritty win at Moruya last start. CANYONERO (3) is better than this lot on best form but struggles on the heavy tracks. SELECTIONS: Win bet Straya Pride.

Hawkesbury Computer Card - July 17

NARRANDERA: RACE 1 @ 12:09PM

Clymene (3) arrives from Victoria for the Matt Dale stable after racing with mixed success last preparation. No trial form and must be kept safe. ORREZA (6) missed the jump slightly and never got into the race at Hawkesbury on June 12. Prior runs were respectable. WEE JUGGLER (7) started favourite at Wagga Wagga last start but was never comfortable on the heavy (10). BOLD TRIUMPH (1) was solid on debut when second over this trip on July 4. Keep safe. SELECTIONS: Clymene to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 1 @ 12:16PM

Tough race with the bulk of the field facing the starter for the first time. Larrikin Rogue (4) is a Flying Artie two-year-old gelding from the Chris Anderson yard on debut today. Looks a definite chance after his dominant 6.5 len barrier trial win at Eagle Farm on July 8. PRIMED FOR VICTORY (8) is resuming from a spell after finishing seventh over 1110m at Doomben at the latest appearance on October 23. Has had two solid trials for this and should be primed. HEMSBY (2) is a first-starter by Epaulette out of Swiss Miss. His two trials have been good and inside gate a big plus. GALAXY GENERAL (1) is a two-year-old colt by Zoustar from Seeking Attention on debut. In very good two-year-old stable and market moves should be closely monitored. SELECTIONS: Box Quinella: 4,8,2,1.

GRAFTON: RACE 4 @ 1:45PM

Lady Redwood (3) hit the line with gusto to finish third at Moruya last time out and the step-up to the 1700m here looks ideal. Strips fitter third-up from the spell and should be right there when the whips are cracking. LITTLE KNOWN FACT (4) has been just behind the placegetters in both starts this campaign and is drawn to get a cushy run in transit from the low draw. Looks a threat. The well-related WHATEVER IT TAKES (1) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Lady Redwood to win.

PAKENHAM: RACE 4 @ 2:05PM

Saunter Boy (1) made it three in a row over the sticks winning the latest by 9L at Sandown (L). Has been kept up to the mark with a solid effort on the flat at Flemington and will take a stack of beating with Pateman sticking in the saddle. COUNT ZERO (3) brought strong form to Warrnambool and was right in it until mucking things late. He shapes as the threat. ONSET (6) found Blandford Lad much too good the latest off two wins and the form has her well in the mix. TAMARACK (4) has been getting around without winning. May fill-out the first-four. SELECTIONS: Keen on Saunter Boy.

MURTOA: RACE 3 @ 2:20PM

Rhythmic Dragon (4) is yet to place in three starts but was very well supported when resuming last time out. He creates interest with added fitness and Harry Coffey taking the ride. SPIRIT DE LUNE (6) can be forgiven for last start on the Heavy and will be suited out to this trip third up. SCANDALOUS SCARLET (12) next elect off a last start placing. SELECTIONS: Siding with Rhythmic Dragon.

ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 1 @ 2:21PM

Sedona (8) has won two of his last three and was bet a 9-10F the latest. Has a 3kg claim and looks well-placed to repeat. MATHEMATICS (4) has been threatening in stronger. Draws a low gate and is a threat. SUPREME TIMES (1) comes back in grade. Was heavily-bet again missing a lip two back and gets another chance. COLHOUN (7) will use the rail and seeks the hat-trick off comfortable wins. He can't be ruled out. SELECTIONS: With Sedona in a good contest.

CARNARVON: RACE 5 @ 3:45PM

Shamara (3) seeks the hat-trick and keeps improving. The gate is wider today but counting on Staples to manage. PASSPORT (1) resumed with the CL1 win leading all the way. Brought strong provincial form to that and fitter looks right up to repeating. AMELIA'S CHANT (5) led and won here and then was caught wide on pace after and couldn't finish on. Will push forward and is a chance with better luck in the run. PRINCE SAIYAN (2) races handy and can fill out the first-four. SELECTIONS: Backing Shamara.
