KATIM'S CLUB is racing consistently this prep. Looks the likely leader and should give a kick in the straight. 1400m will see him out but if he gets an easy time, might prove hard to catch.
Moonee Valley: Race 5; #6 Prowess
Prowess' Vinery Stud figures stacks up here but I'm not sure where she's at off her setback. She got beaten first-up in a very basic race in NZ, the winner started $30 and the 3rd & 4th horses got beaten at their next start but a horse who won a BM75 at it's start prior.
Has had a big prep being competitive at each start. He could be getting fitter, but he does rise in weight for this compared to what he has been carrying at his last three starts. I am happy to risk at the price against others who may be hitting form at the right time for this.
