Rockhampton: Race 4; #8 Ring Me
Ring Me doesn't seem to be going well at the moment and I'm happy to take a set against the once talented country sprinter. Her last two runs before a three month spell were very plain as was her returning effort at Albion Park on Monday. I'm surprised she's only racing two days later and she could certainly race flat with this travel factored in. I've always liked her from wide boxes; however, there's a lot of speed drawn underneath her and I can't possibly see her finding the front.
The Meadows: Race 8; #8 Halloween
Halloween no doubt has the speed to cross over and lead here but I could see her paddling late especially if Mr Anderson drives her mad in the middle stages of the race. The pattern of this race may set up for the closers in Dewana Burger, Bahrose and Glaceon Bale who may not use too much energy early but will be charging late.
