TRIAL POINTERS

WARWICK FARM April 11 (Polytrack): BETHENCOURT was impressive in his 1175m heat win (70.99; 35.74), coming three wide from the rear with a long run from the 600m. Group star PRIVATE EYE brought a touch of class to the session. He raced closer in his 1175m heat and only had to peel off the backs the leaders on the turn to put them away under a soft ride in slow time (72.42;42; 35.70).

WARWICK FARM April 8 (Polytrack): Godolphin's PANDEMIC worked strongly to run second in his open heat over 740m (44.09; 33.14) won by stablemate Geist. PANDEMIC has now had two trials and is always at his best when he runs fresh.

RANDWICK April 4: No knock on the 1045m heat win by last start Melbourne winner GLISTENING (63.86; 35.31). The Waterhouse/Bott juvenile COMMAND APPROVED won his heat over 736m (44.03; 34.12). He was strong through the line after covering plenty of ground and appeals as the right type for the Brisbane carnival. The speedy DUCHESS kept running to win a strong 736m heat in good time (43.83; 33.95).

WARWICK FARM April 1: The maiden heat over 1175m (71.43; 36.62) was won by HYDE, well supported in his first start at Warwick Farm. He had blinkers on and dominated to lead easily and score by six lengths.
