Breeders are presented with a rare chance in the Inglis Online August (Early) Sale with a breeding right in Australia’s leading stallion up for grabs.
A share in Yarraman Park stallion, who has this year had his fee increased to $247,500 (from $220,000) will be available when bidding commences from 2pm Friday.
The son of Invincible Spirit was on Monday officially crowned Australian Champion Sire for the 2021/22 season, having finished runner-up the previous four seasons.
He was the sire of four individual Group 1 winners last season; Coolmore Stud Stakes and Black Caviar Lightning winner Home Affairs, Oakleigh Plate winner Marabi, The Goodwood winner Lombardo and dual New Zealand Group 1 winner Imperatriz.
His progeny last season amassed almost $20 million in earnings and this year saw yearlings sell for more than $51 million, including the $1.9m sale-topper at Magic Millions in January and a $2m yearling at Inglis Easter.
The Inglis Online August (Early) Sale commences on Friday afternoon with bidding running through until Wednesday, August 10.
