Galileo sires a stakes treble over the weekend
25 for Australia
The Coolmore Stud-based sire Australia (Galileo) recorded his 25th stakes winner when Tranquil Lady (3 f ex Repose by Quiet American) won the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes (1m2f) at Naas on Saturday. The filly, who is trained by Joseph O'Brien, scored an impressive four length victory, beating the Aidan O'Brien-trained favourite Lily Pond (Galileo). Australia's fee in 2022 was advertised at €35,000.

228 for Dubawi
Rogue Milennium (3 f ex Hawaafez by Nayef) remained undefeated when she won Saturday's Listed Oaks Trial Fillies' Stakes (1m3.5f), becoming the 228th stakes winner for Darley's Dubawi (Dubai Millennium). The Tom Clover-trained filly, who was bought by JS Bloodstock for 35,000gns at last year's Tattersalls December Mare Sale, held on to beat Mystic Wells (Kitten's Joy) by a head and has won both of her career starts. Dubawi sits at the head of the leading sires table in Europe by earnings and Rogue Millennium is one of seven stakes winners sired by the stallion so far this season in Europe. Dubawi has sired 49 Group 1 winners to date and his three time Group 1 winning son Too Darn Hot shuttles to Australia.

94 for Frankel
Onesto (3 c ex Onshore by Sea The Stars) became the 94th stakes winner for Juddmonte Farm's champion Frankel (Galileo) when he won the Group 2 Prix Greffulhe (2100m) at Saint-Cloud. The colt ran on well in the closing stages to pull two and a half lengths clear of the previously unbeaten Agave (Dubawi). Frankel enjoyed a stakes double at Saint-Cloud with Sibila Spain (3 f ex L'Ancresse by Darshaan) adding a second stakes victory to her record in the Group 2 Prix du Muguet (1600m) and handing her sire his 63rd Group winner. Frankel is enjoying a very successful year in Europe, siring 11 stakes winners so far. He is currently sitting second behind Dubawi in the leading sires table in Europe by earnings.

Stakes treble for Galileo
The stakes winners continued to flow for Galileo (Sadler's Wells) with United Nations (3 c ex Christmas Kid by Lemon Drop Kid) winning Saturday's Listed Lingfield Derby Trial Stakes (1m3.5f). The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt defeated the Charlie Appleby-trained favourite Walk Of Stars (Dubawi) and handing his sire his 351st stakes winner.
A day later, History (3 f ex Prize Exhibit by Showcasing) made a successful seasonal debut in the Group 3 Cornelscourt Stakes (1m) at Leopardstown, providing her sire with his 352nd stakes winner. The Aidan O'Brien-trained filly beat Agartha (Caravaggio) by three quarters of a length. In the following race, History's stablemate Stone Age (3 c ex Bonanza Creek by Anabaa) won the Group 3 Derby Trial Stakes (1m2f) to hand Galileo his 353rd stakes winner.
28 for Night Of Thunder
Former Darley shuttler Night Of Thunder (Dubawi) sired his 28th stakes winner when Saturday's Group 3 Chartwell Fillies' Stakes (7f) was won by Lola Showgirl (5 m ex Exempt by Exceed And Excel). The David Loughnane-trained filly returned to winning form having not won since last June and held on to score by three quarter of a length from pearl Glory (Cotai Glory) Night Of Thunder stood at Darley's Kildangan Stud for a fee of €75,000 this year.

62 for Siyouni
In winning Saturday's Listed Prix Bedel (2400m) at Lyon, Coeur Macen (5 m ex Decision by Kentucky Dynamite) provided his Aga Khan Studs-based sire Siyouni (Pivotal) with his 62nd stakes winner. Bred by Haras du Quesnay, Coeur Macen beat Opasan (French Navy) by a half length, recording her sixth career win in 22 career starts. Siyouni's Group 1 winning son St Mark's Basilica will shuttle to Coolmore Australia for this first time in 2022.

Five for Territories
The Shadwell Estate Company-raced Aldaary (4 g ex Broughtons Revival by Pivotal) made a winning start to his four-year-old career with victory in the Listed Spring Trophy stakes (7f) at Haydock and in doing so became the fifth stakes winner for Darley's Territories (I Am Invincible). Under Jim Crowley, Aldaary – who is from his sires first crop - pulled clear to beat Bounce The Blues (Excelebration) by three and a half lengths. Territories shuttled to Australia for five seasons between 2017 and 2021 but is not returning in 2022 after only covering 23 mares last year.
