Ryan Moore has a cosmopolitan book of seven rides from three different continents lined up for the Dubai World Cup card at Meydan on March 27, when he will partner US-trained outsider Title Ready in the $12 million feature – a race he has never won.
The six-year-old goes to Dubai on the back of a career-best effort in the G3 Louisiana Stakes at Fair Grounds in New Orleans on January 16, after which trainer Dallas Stewart nominated the Meydan highlight.
Title Ready is one of four American challengers alongside Godolphin's favourite Mystic Guide plus charismatic pair Jesus' Team – third in the Preakness, second in both the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile and Pegasus World Cup – and Sleepy Eyes Todd.
A total of $26.5m is up for grabs on the Dubai World Cup card, where Moore will bid for a second win the Sheema Classic on Hong Kong Vase winner Mogul for his retainer Aidan O'Brien.
Moore won the $5m contest in 2014 on star Japanese filly Gentildonna, and the jockey's long-running links to Japan have brought two rides this year on Red Le Zele (Golden Shaheen) and Takeru Pegasus (UAE Derby).
He also rides top US turf sprinter Extravagant Kid for trainer Brendan Walsh in the Al Quoz Sprint.
Moore's final two rides come from more familiar sources in the Sir Michael Stoute-trained regal Reality (Dubai Turf) and Team Valor's Spanish Mission (Dubai Gold Cup), who represents Andrew Balding.
