 RACE 1

ROYAL COMMISSION – Okay performance behind Pacific Scout, was still very green in the straight and has been waiting to get back into the winners' circle for a while now. Draws the inside gate.

MAZE – Great maiden win last start, won with authority and should be a big danger in this field. Key booking with Curatolo sticking aboard and should look to sit up on speed from barrier ten.

LONHRO GOLD – Hit the front a long way from home last start and held on strongly for a nice victory. Obtains an ideal draw and he can be a very tough customer to catch.

WAR FRONTIER – We haven't seen him since November last year where he placed behind War Star. He will be fresh and could be in the finish. Watch betting.

 RACE 2

OPPA – Career best performance two starts back, then held that form most recently behind Outfit. Still looking to step out over more ground but should be in the mix again.

EMPOWERING – Good run last time out over 1800m now comes back down to a more suitable trip for Pinheiro and Burridge combination. Should get a great run from barrier six.

LIM'S EVEREST – His still an immature young 3yo son of Embellish and could see some betting support early in the day. His been prepping up for this run with three trials.

KOTA RANGER – Key booking with one of the leading riders Bruno Queiroz taking the steer. He could pop up in a weaker maiden field like this. Okay.

 RACE 3

LIM'S DREAMWALKER – He should be suited now at 1400m and gets Lerner in the saddle again. He can be a frustrating horse for punters but continues to be in the mix. Should look to get back to finish off late.

LOVERY BOY – Looking for three straight wins in this grade, last start he was very impressive on the turf and produced a strong finish against a moderate field. Should look to push forward from the outside gate. First time at 1400m.

CON SPERANZA – Now comes into class 5 for the first time, gets apprentice claims and draws perfectly. Watch market. Should relish the 1400m.

SMOKE AND MIRRORS – Finally, back down to 1400m this weekend. He obtains a perfect draw and will get back and flash home. Could see plenty of betting support on race day.

 RACE 4

TENNET TENTENNET – Talented type who has an impressive record over these distances. From barrier one he should settle back and hold a spot on the fence as he just lacks that early speed. Second up run and will be powering home late in the piece.

RODA ROBOT – Drops back to a more suitable grade for our leading trainer. Just wasn't able to fire a shot in class three recently and in form Aussie rider Daniel Moor to take the steer is a positive.

MESMERIZING – Plenty of placings over the past twelve months as he just struggles to find another win. From barrier two Pinheiro should have him up rolling on the speed and if he judges the pace right maybe he is the one they have to chase down.

FREE AND HAPPY – He is on the quick backup having his fourth run in the space of a month and wasn't too far away from Boardroom, but these conditions look more to his liking. Top four player.

 RACE 5

CAPTAIN SINGAPORE – A hard horse to catch on his day. Now gets Pinheiro in the saddle and draws barrier two, he should be able to measure up to this field and get a soft run.

ANGEL BABY – Was catching the eye out late last time out behind Maze, continued to hit the line hard and wasn't beaten far. Watch betting.

SIRIUS – Not a bad run last start, was closing off strongly behind Thunder Star and has had a few weeks off now. Watch the market.

DIAMOND RING – Bruno Queiroz takes the ride from an outside stall but should push forward and get into a positive position. Right in this race. Key player.

 RACE 6

HASTEN – Draws well in barrier one to get a lovely run for Simon Kok who knows the horse very well. Yet to miss a top two placing at this course and distance and was running on late last start to show he is ready to fire here.

STOP THE WATER – Missed the start at his most recent outing and looked game over from there. Still attacked the line well and will take plenty of advantage with four kilograms off his back.

AMAZING BREEZE – Strong going style runner who will be hoping that there is good speed on early so he is able to finish off late in the piece. Has been the subject of betting support in some of his recent runs so watch the market late.

GOLD GOVERNOR – He has really turned his form around making it two wins on the bounce. The win two starts back was strong on a leader dominated track but he proved it was no fluke last outing holding out the fast-finishing Sousui. Must respect the winning form.

 RACE 7

OTAHUHU – Now gets into a winnable grade this time around. He is a noted front runner with plenty of ability and should benefit from the apprentice claim. Draws out.

LIM'S ZOOM – Comes back into class 5 and the last time he was in this grade he won well. Race conditions should and could produce a solid run. Lerner onboard from barrier five. Key player.

SUMMER WIND – Good win last weekend over 1400m on the turf. He can be hit of miss and draws out wide this time. Should find it harder but could surprise.

ACE SOVEREIGN – Solid run behind Summer Wind back in early July. Curatolo now gets the ride and could push forward for a handy spot. Going well.

 RACE 8

NIMBUS STAR – Gets the dream barrier draw in gate one as he looks to claim his first win here at Kranji. Had to some work from gate nine last start and was only beaten half a length in the finish. Gets some more luck to go one better.

PER INCROWN – Course and distance specialists who has a record of (33:6-4-5) to his name. He now sits two points lower in the ratings than his last win and will be hoping for some early speed to finish off late. However, being on the seven-day backup is a query.

NORDIC STAR – Comes here second up after a respectable first Singapore run beaten two and a half lengths to Dancing Supremo on the turf. Had great form on the all-weather track in Hong Kong so surface shouldn't be an issue.

WINDFALL – Sits two points away from being back in a winnable grade but scored in nice fashion last start to say a top four placing isn't beyond him. Value play.

 RACE 9

ONEMOREFORTHEROAD – Since joining the Peters stable, he has made it back-to-back wins in good form races to say a third win in succession isn't beyond him. Does rise up in weight but the horse is in a good space.

FRENETIC – Goes well on both surfaces and has placed at the mile on the turf in the past. He has been catching the eye late in his races and just needs to tack onto the field as they corner.

PACIFIC BEAUTY – Very hard to catch this filly form wise. On derby day she showed a great turn of foot late to score for her second win here. If you go off that last win against these, you must give her another chance. Senior rider jumps on too.

SHIHAB – He is on the quick seven-day backup but then again so are a lot of others this meeting. He settled well in the run last week and boxed on well late. The claim is a bonus to his chances.

 RACE 10

PACIFIC COMMANDER – Came from well back in the field to finish with a strong turn of foot to score in similar conditions last start. Gets Moor in the saddle and watch for any betting support.

GOLDEN BROWN – Talented type who is still putting it all together. From eleven starts he has missed the top three placings only twice. The wide barrier draw isn't idea but if he gets luck then maybe his ability will get him home.

BIG UNION – Had genuine excuses last start being slowly away and forced to race three wide punching the breeze. If you go off his win two starts back and he breaks cleanly he can certainly put his hand up as a winner here.

SURREY HILLS – Two runs back failed to figure in the placings but his most recent effort behind Dancing Supremo showed he isn't ready for a rest just yet. Thrives in these conditions and group one jockey Marc Lerner is booked to steer.
