The Grand National course, in use on Saturday for the Grand Sefton Chase, has passed an inspection on Friday morning.
Aintree Racecourse were forced to hold a morning inspection on Friday due to reported waterlogging on the Grand National track, ahead of Saturday's Grand Sefton Chase, which will be the first race of the season to use the historic fences. The Mildmay and hurdles courses were unaffected and not part of the inspection.
The official going for the Grand National course is heavy, soft in places.
