A hot day and a hot field for the 132nd Grosser Preis von Berlin.

It is G1 and over the 2400m with a field of 8.  Godolphin's Rebels Romance has James Doyle riding the Appleby pupil as William Buick is at Deauville.  They are on 15/8.  We like the local's Alter Adler who is on 5/1 for Hickst and Starke, and Assistant flew from nowhere recently and is worth following and is on 7/1 for Grewe and Thore Hammer Hansen.

The temperature is supposed to be around 33 and it may well feel hotter.

It's also the 200th anniversary of racing in Germany!
