3 minute read

The people got it right – Titleholder was the most popular horse in the voting for top 10 entrants into the race.

And he obviously appreciated this support and came home strongly to win from Damian Lane's mount Hishi Iguazu 10.4 and Daring Tact for third who did have the mare's weight allowance which may have helped her finish a nose in front of Deep Bond.

Authority was scratched before the race having been found to be lame in the right fore.

Efforia was disappointing – there seems to be a problem so we will wait to see what happends.

Titleholder has earned a start in the Cox Plate but the word seems to be that he will head strait to the Arc where he will find an increasing number of compatriots.
