It has been a very challenging year again for the HKJC but turnover was up so they were happy.

The awards went to Frankie Lor for Champion Trainer, Zac Purton Champion Jockey and Matthew Chadwick for top local jockey, and of course Golden Sixty for Horse of the Year.

The final meeting saw Zac Purton clinch the jockey's championship and included riding a winner for Paul O'Sullivan on the last horse Paul saddled in Hong Kong and winning both feature races, the first on Turin Red Sun in the HK Racehorse Owners' Trophy and the second in the Class 2 1200 Joy and Fun on Lucky Sweynesse.
