Two of South Australia’s leading jockeys dominated the Morphettville Parks meeting on the weekend.

Jason Holder landed a treble while Todd Pannell completed his successful recovery from a broken a collarbone to ride a double at his first day of race riding since Adelaide Cup Day in March.

The pair have long been at the top of the SA riding ranks and boast nearly 3000 winners between them.

Holder scored on Bajan Belle for Ryan Balfour, Ichibansan (Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas) and continued his successful association with the Bob Richard-trained Star Hills.

Pannell didn't take long to remind everyone of his rich talent.

He came from a mile back to win aboard Jaguary for the Travis Doudle stable before giving former Chris Waller-trained Agrimony a dream run to win first-up in SA for Will Clarken.

Ryan Hurdle also chimed in with a double, as he scored on Calla Dream for Ron Daniel and Trish Stanbury as well as the Port Augusta-based Time Warrior, trained by Dennis Mcmahon.

Morphettville trainer Chris Bieg had a milestone of his own with a two state double in the space of 30 minutes.

Tubby Two Tracks was too good at Morphettville before smart mare Diamonds justified the decision to go to Flemington winning impressively down the straight with Josh Richards in the saddle.
