RACE 1 - 12:40PM Wayne Henson Maiden Plate (1600 METRES)

LIGHTS OF BROADWAY was sent out a $2.60 favourite behind Balcrest Belle here last start. Her previous run behind Lakehurst was solid for a race like this and she has been placed at two of three on soft ground. KAMALANI was well backed here in March when 4th behind True Aim. She was specked again behind Lakehurst at Gawler and has trialled nicely since. Good gate and the winkers go on. SEA OF SECRETS is a former Ryan Balfour galloper who had market support when well beaten first-up for the Stokes stable behind Balcrest Belle here. He has been well supported again. KING OF AVALON has been placed at his past three, the past two on soft surfaces. He draws out but looks well placed in a race like this.

SELECTIONS: 10 LIGHTS OF BROADWAY, 9 Kamalani, 3 Sea Of Secrets, 1 King Of Avalon

PLAY: Something each-way KAMALANI.

CRACKER CLUB was well beaten in a recent trial but stable is going well.

SELECTIONS: 1 ANJOPIN, 2 Chicago Storm, 12 Monseagle, 14 Not A Single Secret

PLAY: Something small on NOT A SINGLE SECRET.
