It will be a difficult task for two Tony and Calvin McEvoy-trained fillies to replicate the winning margin of their last start victories at Sandown

Star Of Chaos, a last start seven length winner, runs in the Thoroughbred Club Handicap (1600m) while Super Jenni Kay, a debut six length victor, contests the Tile Importer Handicap (1300m) on Saturday.

Calvin McEvoy said Star Of Chaos had benefitted from a set of blinkers when successful at the midweek meeting at Sandown on June 1 and was not surprised by the ease of the win.

However, he said the stable was perplexed by the filly's performance at Flemington at her previous run.

"We couldn't put it down to much, other than she likes to run along," McEvoy said.

"We found nothing coming out of it, so we pushed on with blinkers and that made a huge difference.

"You only have to look at her form, second to Espiona, third to Illation, and that should have been good enough to win a Wednesday race."

McEvoy concedes Saturday's race is a different assignment, one where she is tackling the 'boys' and as the highest rated runner on handicaps.

"It's a step up as there's some nice progressive horses there, but with the claim for Alana Kelly, I think she's in very well," McEvoy said.

McEvoy said the stable has held a healthy respect for Super Jenni Kay who scored on the Ballarat synthetic track on May 23.

Now Super Jenni Kay has to bring that form to a heavy track on turf on Saturday.

"Sometimes you have to take the form with a bit of a pinch of salt, but she's a filly we do like, always have, but she has to take that next step," McEvoy said.

"It does look a tough race, but we wanted to be fairly aggressive as she's got a good pedigree and if she could win a Saturday metropolitan race, it would be great for her page."
