Winning Trainer: Tracey Bartley
On winning a race on Stradbroke day: "It's been a fery successful day for us and the staff at home."
On the horse: "He's a very nice horse, he's got a great turn of foot on him and he relaxes.
"He was terribly unlucky his last two starts, he could have won both of them and been in the Stradbroke but, anyway he's got something for the boys and we'll have a drink tonight."
On the run: "I said to Jason, 'just be back and switch him off' and he said, 'he'll outsprint all of these and I'll just go when I want to go', so I just left it up to him.
"He rides him really good and he has done right through. There was nothing wrong with Nash (Rawiller's ride) the other day, ut he's Jason's horse to ride and we're honoured to have him back on.
On the future: "A race like the Golden Eagle, might throw it out there because he's a serious horse. He's got bent legs, but he doesn't know that and we look after him and I'm sure he's going to look after us.
Path to the Golden Eagle: "We'd have to sit down and map that out, obviously, but he's a serious horse. I think he just showed that then. His last 600 in his last four or five starts has been nearly the best of the day and that stands him in very good stead."
On potentially coming back for the Stradbroke next year: "I hope we are, I definitely hope we are."
Winning Jockey: Jason Collett
On the horse: "Jeez, he's improved this horse. Tracey's done a great job. I won on him over 1000 I remember at Wyong, he was pretty raw and there's not a lot of him, but he's slowly furnishing into potentially a very good horse."
On the run today: "He was a bit more on the bridle. Previous times I've covered him up and we've learnt that he doesn't like that as much, so we were fortunate enough with the barrier to stay in that one-off position in a lot of clear air and it was a good feeling turning in for home, that's for sure."
"It was a really good turn of foot for over a mile, so if he keeps improving like he is he will go to another level."
