Winning Trainer: Peter & Paul Snowden (Paul speaking)
On continuing their stellar carnival: "Things have worked out, we've had the horses to get the job done and it's a good thrill.
On the horse's improvement: "Who would have thought, 12 months ago last Sunday he raced at Muswellbrook and won the Aberdeen Cup, so that's how far he's come in 12 months. The older he's got the better he's got.
"It was a really good return for him at Stakes level the other day at Scone. I thought obviously he was going to have improvement off the back of that and he was always going to map well to get the lovely run (today).
"Hit the front a little bit too soon here, he had to make his own run into it - he didn't have anything to cart him into it - so he was a little bit of a sitting duck late but that's what he has got, a ton of tenacious ability and he's fought them off."
On possible future targets: "We've got the Healy (Stakes) in a couple of weeks and off the back of that it's not going to be beyond him."
Winning Jockey: Tommy Berry
On his progression: "I went down to Muswellbrook to ride this guy 12 months ago so seeing him here winning a Stakes race isn't what I expected but after his work on Tuesday morning, I said to Pete, 'he might be alright here'.
"He's just come of age. It's taken him a long time, but he's relaxing better and he's doing things right.
"It was a good effort today because we were left in front a long way out and he toughed it out well.
On carrying 54.5kg: "Getting down in the weights is nice for me as well, as long as they win. It makes it worth it. He's an honest horse, he's at his grade now, it's only going to get tougher from now on but I think even if this was the last race he won - I don't think it will be - but these guys (owners) behind me would be pretty happy."
