Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace (Eustace speaking)
Expectations pre-race: "We were quietly confident with him actually, he'd been training really well. The team have done a terrific job with him. Billy McCarthy rides him every day and he takes a bit of managing."
During the run: "He got into a lovely rhythm, his race manners were much better again, he's got a bright future I think."
Going to SA Derby: "He was bought to do that… he probably was a bit out of his grade but the run wasn't that bad and we just thought back to 2000m would be better. He travelled nice and strong and quickened up well."
On Secret Glamour (6th): "She probably raced to the eye a bit flat, she's done a great job, she's been unlucky not to win but she'll probably have a break now."
Winning Jockey: Michael Dee
How the race unfolded: "Pretty similar to the last race we were able to draw a nice low barrier and I was lucky the tempo was strong throughout, he was able to really relax and from the half mile onwards we were able to build through our gears and gradually get there and he's pretty much done it all on his own."
Going to 2500m in the final: "He's still had a nice healthy blow from that so I'd say he's going to improve again. I'd say he'd be pretty competitive in that."
