The three-year-old filly will only improve with race experience and can continue progressing this preparation in more genuinely run races.
Sacrimony has been up for a long time, but his run was full of merit. The three-year-old gelding had the pace/bias against him and still ran the race's second-fastest final 600m split in 34.20.
Comme Bella Fille had too much to do in the Benchmark 88 ACY Securities Handicap (1800m) after settling worse than midfield at a slow pace and then having to make her run in the inferior ground.
The John O'Shea trained mare ran the race quickest final 600m/400m/200m sectionals in 34.89/23.26/11.91. Continue to follow this preparation as she is on an upwards ratings spiral and is suited over further distance.
Kalino bounced back into the winner's stall after having every chance when winning the Schweppes Handicap (1600m). Although having all favours, the gelding appreciated the drier surface and sprinted one of the fastest final 600m splits across the day in 34.30.
Tympanist should've finished closer, and King Of Hearts ran the quickest final 200m sectional of the race in 11.74.
It's worth mentioning the return of Consript, who got too far back but made considerable ground in the Petaluma Handicap (1100m) and ran the meeting's second-fastest final 600m split in 33.83. The winner Hulk was just a click behind in 33.88.
