Race 1 - 12:50PM JULIE HARRIS SERVICE PLATE (1100 METRES)

7. Snitcat is the best performed horse in the race and lands in a maiden for the first time in her career. Beaten two lengths by Sejardan, placed behind Coolangatta in the Magic Millions last start. She's had an easy trial, draws one and if she handles the ground she should go close.

Dangers5. Dame Cartland ran a cheeky race at big odds in the Widden Stakes before failing in the very heavy ground behind Fireburn in the Sweet Embrace. Trialling well and finds James McDonald to ride. Sure to give a sight. 4. Cruizingdafield led them up on debut at this track three weeks ago and fought on pretty well to hold third. Imagine she'll look to go forward again and is well worth including. 3. Choice Legend is an interesting runner, the rider lost the irons in his trial at Randwick a few weeks ago and the horse did well to run third. She's one to keep an eye on.

How to play it: Snitcat WIN ($4.40 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: ODDS.

Race 2 - 1:25PM FURPHY PLATE (1100 METRES)

11. Sports Legend has looked the part in winning both trials in June, one on synthetic and the other on a soft 6. Has a tricky gate but with even luck if he runs up to what he's shown in the trials he should be competitive.

Dangers5. Kazalark is another first starter and he's harder to get a line on given he hasn't really been exposed in his trials. Did work home nicely under no pressure in the latest at Randwick on synthetic ground and is a big market watch. 9. Renosu tackled stakes races at his first four starts, for two placings, before a fair fourth at Canterbury on a heavy track, when a big drifter, in March. The heavy might test him again but trialling well and worth another look while fresh. 13. Martial Music gave a cheeky sight in front on debut here three weeks ago before being reeled in late by Airman and a couple of others. Could be an improver with the run under his belt.

How to play it: Sports Legend WIN ($4.60 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: ODDS.

Race 3 - 2:00PM THE AGENCY HANDICAP (1550 METRES)

2. Icecrusher has been excellent in two runs back for a close second first-up then a month between runs into a solid second at Canterbury on a heavy 10. Fitter for that, no harder here and getting out in distance now is a good chance to go one better.

Dangers5. Awesome Choice finished alongside Icecrusher when they met at Canterbury and with the 2kg claim she is better off at the weights. At the same time she had her chance to get past her rival. Won second-up last prep, however, and is a threat. 3. Notions tends to mix form and won at Goulburn two starts back before a handy enough effort in the Winx Guineas on the Sunshine Coast on a heavy 10. Small field suits and worth including in the chances. 7. Mystic Mermaid scrambled in two win a maiden at Newcastle after a string of city maiden placings on wet tracks. Place chance.

How to play it: Icecrusher WIN ($3.70 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 4 - 2:35PM SCHWEPPES HANDICAP (1800 METRES)

2. Zounique rarely puts in a bad one and that's a head start in this open race. Ran on into a placing over this course two starts back then far too strong in heavy ground at Newcastle back in class. Claim helps here and has a good chance to repeat.

Dangers3. Steplee wasn't disgraced running on strongly into second behind The Milkbar Kid here three weeks ago in a similar race. Is a two time heavy track winner and while he gets back he has a big finish and is sure to be hitting the line. 4. Chateaux Park is another who gets back and runs on and while he doesn't win out of turn he usually runs into the placings or thereabouts. Sound in a Midway last time over a mile and has to be included. 5. Angelical disappointed in a Highway second-up but found her form for a top win under 60.5kg at Muswellbrook. Has handled the heavy previously and with the 4kg weight drop is in the mix.

How to play it: Zounique WIN ($5.00 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 5 - 3:10PM FUJITSU GENERAL HANDICAP (1550 METRES)

4. Casino Kid caught everyone's eye with his slashing return at Randwick over 1100m and he steps quickly into a distance range where he can be competitive. Tends to improve through his prep and while he may be a run or two away from his top this is winnable and he will be charging home.

Dangers11. Tympanist has been a little hard to catch of late. Shade unlucky two runs back behind Kalino at Randwick then back into a Midway he didn't fire a shot. If he produces his best he's good enough to get away with this. 2. Wild Chap could get some on pace favours and back in class on a wet track is worth another chance after contesting Big Dance qualifying races at his past two. Easy Canterbury winner on heavy tracks twice in May. 9. Green Flash hasn't raced for over six weeks since a second-up placing at Ballarat in May. Small query on a heavy track but has shown talent and James McDonald rides. Keep in mind.

How to play it: Casino Kid E/W ($5.00 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 6 - 3:45PM TAB HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

12. Glacier Queen is racing in top form this time in, winning at Warwick Farm third-up before looking all over a winner here three weeks ago when it was snatched from her on the line. Handles heavy okay and this doesn't look any harder than last time. Go well.

Dangers1. Quick Tempo won his first five starts before failing in two attempts in BM72 grade in late summer. Whether he was at the end of his prep then is a possibility, but he's trialled nicely leading into this and handles the ground. Keep safe. 8. Jacquine Reward had a task after going back from a wide gate first-up for 12 months at Scone under 60kg but hit the line nicely late. Fitter for that and while he would probably prefer a soft track he did trial well in heavy ground prior to resuming. Eligible for easier but expecting him to be handy and he could be placed. 3. Miracle Day is a lot better than what he showed first-up at Rosehill a month ago. Raced well on wet tracks last time in so entitled to another chance back in forgiving ground.

How to play it: Glacier Queen WIN ($3.60 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 7 - 4:20PM BOWERMANS HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

10. Tawfiq Lass came from last to miss narrowly on a good track here before sitting on speed and always looking in control to score easily at Canterbury on heavy ground. Imagine she will adopt a similar approach here and be handy and she can repeat.

Dangers9. Adelaide's Light is getting close to a win and if they are able to run on out wide it will suit him from an outside gate. Past two runs at Canterbury on heavy tracks have been solid and he's capable of featuring. 7. Spangler is the big watch of the day. Lightly raced import who won on debut in the UK on a heavy track and was runner-up on synthetic at his only other start. Not exposed in his two trials but be very wary especially if there's good support. 3. Confessed hasn't raced since the Provincial-Midway Championships Final which was her only failure in eight starts last campaign. Handles a heavy and while she will be better for the run she's an each-way chance.

How to play it: Tawfiq Lass WIN ($4.80 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: SPLIT.
