A rare midweek meeting will be held at Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens on Wednesday, October 2nd following last Saturday’s Golden Rose Day action.
For more racing and sports previews, visit the Ladbrokes Blog.
The rail will be set out seven metres around the entire course while at publish, we're faced with a track rated in the Soft (7) range.
I've run the rule over every horse and race, and you can find my complete preview and Rosehill tips below.
Race 1 - 2pm: Maiden Plate (1400m)
Open race to kick off the program but I thought that Great White Shark had genuine claims at nice odds ($10 at publish).
Great White Shark showed some ability around some decent types during his debut preparation, while he returned to action for a somewhat luckless run at Warwick Farm, in which he was still just over a length behind the winner.
With natural improvement and the advantage of Joao Moreira aboard this week, he does look up to something like this.

Race 2 - 2:35pm: Alinta Energy Handicap (1200m)
Celestial Bling resumes in a winnable race at Rosehill on Wednesday.
The Capitalist filly only made one appearance at the races during her debut prep, but it was an eye-catching effort and photo second behind subsequent Group 1 Inglis Sires' winner, Manaal.
She's had several trials leading up to this return and it looks an appropriate campaign launchpad.

Race 3 - 3:10pm: The Agency Real Estate Handicap (2400m)
Newfoundland is another key winning hope for the Waterhouse & Bott team at Rosehill on Wednesday.
Newfoundland turned in some fine performances over in Ireland during the early stages of his career, while his first run back from a break last month heralded a credible third placing in BM72 company at Canterbury.
He's a horse that has typically enjoyed good improvement with a run under his belt and he looks to have a lot of these rivals covered for class.

Race 4 - 3:45pm: Precise Air Handicap (1800m)
Misterkipchoge is third-up and ready to win.
Misterkipchoge stepped out in some strong races earlier this year and wasn't out of his depth, while he has improved noticeably with each of two runs back this time.
Fitter third-up, further out in trip and under Nash Rawiller, this really does look a perfect race for him.

Race 5 - 4:20pm: Sharp EIT Solutions Handicap (1200m)
Need Some Luck's condition just gave out a little in the dying stages of his first run back from a spell, and he looks well placed to go one better with improved fitness this week.
The Rubick gelding has missed placing only once in seven trips to the races so far, winning twice and finding form around notable opposition.
His second-up record is excellent and with even luck in running, I can't find a reason why he won't be in the finish.

Race 6 - 4:55pm: James Squire Handicap (1400m)
This is almost certainly the most open race on the program from a betting standpoint and there is a case to be made for a few of them, including True To Form.
True To Form returned to action for consecutive victories in weaker company at Kembla Grange and Hawkesbury, while a return to metro company last time out saw him finish a close second after taking up the running.
He steps out this week in peak order, Zac Waddick's claim is a big bonus, and he can give them something to chase again.
2 Units E/W True To Form
Race 7 - 5:30pm: Egroup Protective Services Handicap (1300m)
Extremely Hardys puts her unbeaten record on the line when she resumes in the last at Rosehill on Wednesday.
Extremely Hardys only made one appearance at the races during her first preparation, but she couldn't haven't been more impressive when blowing away her rivals to the tune of six lengths at Canterbury in July.
She's had the benefit of a trial leading up to her return and a repeat of that debut performance would be good enough once more.
