Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 30.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Belmont and Eagle Farm.
BELMONT PARK: RACE 10 @ 4:50 PM
GINGER FLYER (1) is bursting to win a race after placings in two stronger races this time in. Drawn nicely and has a good chance to go one better than last couple. BIG SCREEN (2) comes through similar form lines and should also be fitter for two runs back from a break. Goes forward and should be in the finish again. THE VELVET QUEEN (12) broke through after a string of seconds for an impressive win over this course two weeks ago coming from last. Will need a big effort again but must respect. HEART OF COEUR (3) and RUN D'AFFAIRE RUN (4) are right in it too.
SELECTIONS: Ginger Flyer to win. Trifecta 1-2,3,4,12/2,3,4,12.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 2 @ 12:03 PM
DEFICIT (10) has been switched north by Gerald Ryan in search of firmer ground. Well tried at his last couple in Bm72 races at Randwick and Canterbury but has been found wanting in the wet conditions. Beautifully placed and with Orman to steer he looks a nice bet. GWAN SO (12) is a genuine colt who was nailed on the line in the Grafton Guineas last time out when attempting the mile for the first time. Will be given every chance by Brodie Loy from an ideal draw. SOUTHERN STOCK (4) is the class runner of the field back from a nine-week layoff. Last appeared when beaten under 2 lengths in the Queensland Derby. Will have some residual fitness and is good enough to finish right over the top of these. I AM CLEVER (19) brings good form from Rocky to the table. Very honest and worth including at big odds.
