Australian thoroughbred Tab meeting is today held at Newcastle, Grafton, Kilmore, Pakenham and Rockhampton.

NEWCASTLE: RACE 1 @ 12:40 PM

INEQUALITY (2) resumes here but showed enough when last in work including a handy fifth at Listed level. Did place over this track and trip on debut and should be in this for a very long way. PERFECT POINT (1) is another to finish second over this course and distance first time at the races before failing on the Beaumont surface. Has since been given time to mature and can run a race while fresh. BEAUTY BOOM (4) faces the starter for the first time but wasn't far away in a recent Warwick Farm trial and a watch on betting is advised. OBELIUS (5) did place under these conditions last time out and looks one for the multiples. IMPACTFULL MISS (7) draws the inside, gets the claim and hails from a good yard. Respect any market moves.
SELECTIONS: Inequality to win.

GRAFTON: RACE 5 @ 2:45 PM

WINDABULL (6) had been threatening before winning the Maiden at Tamworth. That stacks up and he will enjoy a soft run from the low gate. Set to make it a double. STYLE SEEKER (5) has been racing in stronger city grade and has placed distantly the last two. Draws well and is suited. CRANACH DREAMING (7) brings a big Grafton Maiden win off two near-misses. Draws awkwardly but is in the mix. ROYAL SKY (3) was tracking well before being out-graded at Doomben. In good hands and is a hope.
SELECTIONS: Backing Windabull.

KILMORE: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM

SENEGALIA (9) should prove hard to beat. She was only overrun late after leading at this track and distance last time and a repeat of that effort will see her very hard to run down again. BIDAYA (7) boxed on fairly in the same race behind the top pick last time out and can bridge some of the margin with winkers added. REACH FORTHEPLONK (6) is a four-year-old mare on debut who has won a jumpout at Wangaratta leading in. Draws barrier one, watch the betting. ONLY NEED TIME (4) can be hit and miss but her best puts her in the finish.
SELECTIONS: Senegalia to win.

PAKENHAM: RACE 5 @ 7:45 PM

WORSFOLD (1) is a classy horse when right and can make a winning return. The third to Mr Brightside at The Valley leaps off the page given that horse is a group one winner, and he is unbeaten fresh. If he's fit enough, he'll go close. ARCTIC STONE (4) ran well at Sandown-Hillside last time when leading, run down by subsequent group three winner My Whisper. She's racing very well and should lead these from barrier one. Outside of the top two, MAGNOSSIVA (3) boxed on well at this track and distance last time and can run top three again, while KEEPA RAAJ (6) can bounce back after a disappointing effort at Geelong.
SELECTIONS: Worsfold to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 7 @ 4:22 PM

BOLD AND LUCY (7) peaks and has been racing in stronger provincial competition. Was beaten 2L at the Sunshine Coast the latest and is in well with the 3kg claim. Won't have to improve much to be winning. WINE TALKS (6) was expected to make the hat-trick first-up and got too far back. Keeps the hot jockey and has the winkers applied first time. Draws out but a bounce is likely. TRICKY BEANS (9) has a 3kg claim and go on the near-miss here two-back. Fitter and in the mix. FREE DAWN (3) has a similar profile but a wide barrier. The top hoop takes over and expect him to manage.
SELECTIONS: Backing Bold And Lucy to win.
