Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 10.

Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sale, Goulburn and Mackay.

THE HASS (4) is an honest conveyance who is yet to miss the top four in four career outings and strikes a very winnable contest here. Will be at peak fitness now fourth-up and looks the one they all have to run down. PRECIOUS SOCKS (6) resumes here and has placed two from two when racing fresh. Having her first run for the new stable so a watch on betting is advised. FLIKIDY FLICK (3) has placed three of his past five including one over this track and trip. In the mix. SOCKASTAR (7) is first-up here but the form she showed in her first preparation was good enough to warrant respect in this. One for the exotics players. MUNGO JERRY (8) is on debut and any market activity should be respected.

GOULBURN: RACE 3 @ 1:25 PM

GLOBAL SENSATION (5) hasn't has the best of it the two starts back for the new barn. His Queensland best is right up to this and he has the blinkers on. The Sydney-trained galloper can make sharp improvement. SULWAAN (4) trialled well and was bumped early on debut in town. Will be better for that and fitter is a winning chance. QUATTRO PENSIERI (6) can make further improvement and can get into the finish. Stablemate SPELLZ (7) has looked in need of the two runs back. She can use the rail and has more to give.
SELECTIONS: Backing Global Sensation.

MACKAY: RACE 7 @ 4:10 PM

SONIC ARROW (6) brings a string of placings and there was only a nose in it the latest as favourite. Draws for the run of the race and the premier hoop sticks. Gets his chance in this line-up. DIRTY DIARY (2) needed the run first-up and is a second-up winner. Wiggins sticking is a plus and expect quick improvement. BEGS BELIEF (8) will use the low gate and has been going well in lesser company. Peaks and should get every chance to go on. BETTER DAYS AHEAD (10) returned in good order and is figures read okay. In the mix.
