Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Cranbourne, Ballarat Synthetic, Rockhampton, Inverell, Goulburn and Sunshine Coast Poly.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 3 @ 6:45 PM

RUPERT'S DELIGHT (7) is honest without winning, hitting the top five in 11 of his past 12 outings. Has placed around this circuit and will be rock-hard fit for this. Gets his chance to break through. NERRINA LOLITA (10) placed around this track last time out and draws low for Newitt in gate two. Expected to go very close. KING OF SWING (6) has looked handy placing in both starts to date and looks to be improving with racing. In the mix. BE BE'S CANALLY (1) wasn't too far off them last time and can earn some minor money with the right run.
SELECTIONS: Rupert's Delight to win.

BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 8 @ 4:30 PM

FESTIVUS (2) was tracking well before the plain effort at Stawell bet a 9-4F. Prepared to forgive that and she'll be back on speed today from the low barrier over the shorter trip. Peaks and the stable flies this track. SURIN BEACH (1) was better again just beaten at Bendigo. Carries top weight but expect him to be in the finish. SEA PRINCESS (7) didn't have the best of it the latest but resumed in good order and won't be far away with a repeat of that effort. REBELLIOUS LORD (3) may be the one to fill out the first four.
SELECTIONS: Backing Festivus to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 2 @ 11:20 AM

RIVERSIDE SPECIAL (2) comes north and has looked good at both starts (at Pakenham and Gilgandra). Fitter now and Callow's booking is a decent push. Rates the one to beat on the 12 day return. VILA TINTO (3) led beaten 1.5L at Scone and things didn't work out after. Has switched yards and won a recent trial this track. Uses the low gate and has been freshened. DOLLAR DOLLAR (4) is an ex Kiwi and is right up to this if presented on-song. Stanley's booking suggests he's pleasing and the gelding has had a trial warmer. MOONSCAPE (7) is on the improve and won't be far away.
SELECTIONS: Backing Riverside Special to win.

INVERELL: RACE 1 @ 12:15 PM

DOLLY JAYNE (8) was a handy winner fresh but could only follow that up with a plain showing at Muswellbrook. Has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw and can give backers a sight. SALT CITY (4) is on debut and looks fair enough to be in the finish off a Tamworth trial win. SHAGGY ROGERS (5) finished well beaten in his debut, but that was the Magic Millions qualifier at Wyong. He trialled well behind Salt City recently and is sure to make his presence felt as he returns a gelding. XANADUDE (7) is on debut out of the John Shelton yard, and is a full sibling to a four-time winner. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Going with Dolly Jayne to get the job done.

GOULBURN: RACE 7 @ 3:40 PM

LAWYER'S DELIGHT (1) couldn't have been any more impressive when breaking his maiden by 1L at Wagga last time out. He's a progressive horse who will just have to repeat his latest effort to be winning again. Expecting him to go back-to-back. BEL SUONO (10) picked them up and spat them out to break her maiden by 1.8L over 1300m here last start. She'll go back from the draw, but if there's any pace on in front she'll be storming home over the top. HUXTON CREEPER (7) is much better than he showed first-up when beaten 3.1L here. He'll appreciate the rise in trip and a much improved effort is anticipated. TEXERRO (4) was caught wide without cover last week at Canberra, and will probably enjoy the drop back to 1400m. Expecting him to bounce back. KARIBA (8) is not out of this at her best form.
SELECTIONS: Lawyer's Delight looks the one to beat.

SUNSHINE COAST POLY: RACE 4 @ 4:42 PM

BADGERS NUTS (1) was well in the market when being beaten as a favourite at Eagle farm. That was his first start in Australia and he probably needed the hit out. He has won a soft trial since then and should make amends in this field. Follow your money. PETER THE PIPER (3) had no luck fresh up and will strip fitter for this assignment. Allow another chance. SANKELISKAR (12) has been thereabouts at all of her five career starts and from the perfect inside draw she should be right in the finish. Include in all multiples. RHAPALONG (10) has had a brief freshen up since last racing and his only placing has come on the poly. Robbie Fradd takes over the reins and he will be given every chance. Do not overlook his top-three chances.
SELECTIONS: Badgers Nuts win bet.
