Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 24.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Ballarat, Tamworth, Rockhampton and Canberra.
BALLARAT SYNTHETIC: RACE 4 @ 2:30 PM
Good clash between the top two again. MY BOY BIRMINGHAM (2) was under pressure a fair way out last time but responded in the straight, looming up to get within a head and protesting unsuccessfully. He meets the winner 2kg better at the weights and draws better so tipping he turns the tables. No knock on BLACK BOLT (1) who was a shade too strong last time and likely sits outside the top pick again. SOARING EAGLE (7) wasn't far off the top two last time at big odds and can fill another placing. CAMELOT TALES (3) is resuming after 8 months and is among the chances while fresh.
SELECTIONS: My Boy Birmingham to win.

TAMWORTH: RACE 5 @ 2:40 PM
Former Waller galloper LOVELIER (1) is a model of consistency hitting the top five in all eight career outings and strikes a very winnable contest. Has placed three from five over this distance range and will be right there when the judge calls a halt. TIEMPE PASSATE (4) resumes here but revved up for this with a strong Muswellbrook trial win. Gets the services of Bullock to navigate from the sticky alley and looks a genuine top-three contender. The well-related RHIANNON (14) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown plenty at the trials and draws the inside alley. Respect any market confidence. TYQUENDO (8) has placed over this trip and can run a race while fresh. SUVA MAY (15) is trained on course and can earn some minor money.
SELECTIONS: Lovelier to win.
ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 6 @ 3:27 PM
DOLLAR DOLLAR (6) is an ex-Kiwi who made a big impression when winning with a fair bit in hand fresh up in Queensland. He is only going to improve further with that effort under his belt and in a thin field looks to be the bet of the day. EUPHRATES (3) was a beaten favourite two starts back and then made amends with an emphatic win at Gatton last start, coming with a sustained effort from well back and drawing right away in the finish. He has a future over ground and should not be hard to place in the coming months. BETTER ASK ROY (10) ran on stoutly last start to finish runner-up after a sound fourth at his prior run. He is back in trip for this and will be hitting the line strongly, watch for him late. Each-way. BAYERISCHE (2) just battled fresh up and did a few things wrong in the run home, he will be better for that effort and is worth including in all multiples.
SELECTIONS: Dollar Dollar win bet.
CANBERRA: RACE 6 @ 3:05 PM
DRUMMIN (7) was in brilliant touch prior to her last start disappointment in much tougher company at Newcastle. She drops back to country level today, and she was a winner over this track and distance first-up. Drawn ideally and will take plenty of beating. AGENT MOON (3) is in good touch this campaign, finishing just 0.2L away most recently at Albury. He reaches peak fitness third-up and the soft ground is a big tick for his chances. He'll be there at the finish. PREMOSPHERE (2) won two in-a-row prior to the break and it wouldn't surprise to see her return a winner. REBEL DREAMER (12) ran on well enough first-up at the Sapphire Coast but will benefit from that run. Looks a threat again today.
SELECTIONS: Drummin goes on top in a quality race.
