Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 11.

Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Queanbeyan, Warren, Donald and Mount Isa.

QUEANBEYAN: RACE 3 @ 2:05 PM

LETHAL LADY (1) resumes here and has race experience on her side. Top effort when fifth in the Black Opal last March, and that form will be strong enough for this. Looked to have plenty up her sleeve when fourth in a recent trial at Canberra. ALPINE LADY (7) nice debut at Wagga when second over the 1000m on April 10. Resuming today and drawn to take a hand in the finish. HAGLER (3) trialled well around solid horses in his only public outing and is worth keeping safe. SERAFIMA (10) has race experience and fitness on her side. Not out of this.
SELECTIONS: Lethal Lady to win.

WARREN: RACE 3 @ 2:20 PM

THE BIG SEAL (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1000m at Tamworth. Yet to win at the distance but has recorded three minor placings from four tries and is sure to run well. KEEP ON GOING (16) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Stephen Edwards stable. Hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Geelong ten weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed this line-up. Definite winning chance. RUBI AIR (10) is a maiden galloper resuming today after a spell of six-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a fourth over 1000m at Orange, beaten 2.25 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Should be involved in the finish. YORKER (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when third beaten 1.3 lengths over 1110m at Dubbo. Should be in the mix again.
SELECTIONS: The Big Seal to finally break through.

DONALD: RACE 4 @ 2:00 PM

PEAK ROAD (6) caught the eye on debut last start over 1400m at Cranbourne, winding up late after a tough four-wide run to finish less than a length from the winner in third. Nicely drawn and will relish the extra furlong. Plenty of depth to this maiden but he looks the one. The speedy GUANTANAMERA (4) kicked away and looked home last Sunday over 1400m at Pakenham synthetic but was swamped by a couple late. Very fit after two runs back and with a bit less pressure up front over this longer trip he will be hard to catch. MORTAR (13) has found the line well to just miss the placings at both runs this prep in shorter races. Gets a soft run from gate one and will be putting in the big strides late. PONTIFICATE (11) took over on straightening last time out but was left a sitting duck late, eventually clocking-in a very close fourth over 1447m at Geelong. Useful filly with claims again despite a tough draw. RICH DREAMS (12) wasn't far away last time and is open to further improvement.
SELECTIONS: Keen on #6 Peak Road.

MORUYA: RACE 3 @ 2:05 PM

LETHAL LADY (1) resumes here and has race experience on her side. Top effort when fifth in the Black Opal last March, and that form will be strong enough for this. Looked to have plenty up her sleeve when fourth in a recent trial at Canberra. ATMOSPHERIC ROCK (2) started favourite on debut at this track when a gritty second on July 1. Gets all the favours here and will take plenty of holding out. EIGHT OF A KIND (8) is a Nostradamus filly trained locally making her debut. Trial only fair, but the booking of Overmeire a plus. ALPINE LADY (7) nice debut at Wagga Wagga when second over the 1000m on April 10. Resuming today and drawn to take a hand in the finish. ULTRAGIRL (11) stuck on well at debut over the 905m on ne 20,.
