Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 19.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Taree, Wellington, Geelong, Strathalbyn, Albany, Townsville and Donald.
TAREE: RACE 5 @ 3:51 PM
SOLUTIONIST (6) impressive return when demolished her rivals by 2.5 lens over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle) on October 30. Dylan Gibbons keeps the ride and finds a fairly weak C1 today. Expected to go close again. RECAP (3) is close to her top now third-up and not that far away when sixth over 1300m at Newcastle on November 4. Will need a good ride from the draw and this looks easier. BEAR'S A STAR (1) is building a nice record after three career runs. Resumed with an encouraging third over 1007m at this track on October 29. Won second-up last time in and trained on the track. GOLDEN HONOUR (4) broke his maiden status at start 10 with a strong on-pace display over 1450m at Kempsey on November 10. Backs-up quickly and not to be underestimated.
SELECTIONS: Solutionist to win.

WELLINGTON: RACE 3 @ 3:00 PM
VIS I DO (1) is clearly the horse to beat here third-up after a narrow defeat at Muswellbrook where he hit the line hard to just miss. Trip ideal for him now and he should take some stopping. TALKACHINO (2) won his first two runs this prep then led and just knocked up late as favourite at Coonamble over a mile. Freshened and coming back in trip gives him a big chance. BOONGARA GIRL (4) broke through at Mudgee in lesser company a few weeks ago and given a soft draw could measure up now. SPELLZ (6) is a place hope.
SELECTIONS: Vis I Do to win. Trifecta 1-2,4,6/2,4,6.
DONALD: RACE 2 @ 2:05 PM
FIELDS OF JENNI (12) looks the one to beat here. She resumed over 1200m at Ballarat and just found one better, beaten half a length when in the market. Her form last time in reads very well for this and drawn the inside, she rates highly. KARAKA KIWI (6) ran a very good race first up at Morphettville Parks over 1250m and the rise in trip here should suit. Appears to have come back well and will be running on strongly. SEVILLANA (14) presents here third up having been close up in two runs this time in. Beaten as favourite last time but looks a key chance again. IRRESISTIBLE FORCE (4) next best.
SELECTIONS: Fields Of Jenni to win.
STRATHALBYN: RACE 6 @ 4:12 PM
HEADPHONES (2) tackled city class latest and was far from disgraced when falling just shy of the frame in fourth. Will find this easier than last start. Among the leading chances in this company. PIVOTAL FORCE (7) continues to knock on the door but just struggles to land the winning blow. Justin Potter gets the best out of this eight-year-old gelding. Rates highly on best efforts and is a big threat. LORD MORTON (9) has found the line nicely in both runs back but hasn't been able to pay the punters. Cherry-rip now. Bold showing anticipated. MY MALOO (3) wasn't able to bring up the hat-trick last start but is going well enough to play a role in the finish.
SELECTIONS: Backing Headphones to win.
GEELONG: RACE 7 @ 5:08 PM
MR TRAFFICANTI (2) was narrowly beaten three times before delivering the Maiden win at Mornington over this distance. It was a tough effort and he can build on that drawn for a soft run. NEVADA BREEZE (3) improved again narrowly beaten here 8 days ago. Will push forward and the extra metres won't bother. Gets another chance. QUICK FINGERS (13) peaks and found more like her best at Kilmore. Expect her to improve again and she should have the early speed to clear the wide barrier. KENTAHTEN (1) has been around the mark without winning. Raced a $3 favourite at Pakenham his latest and the blinkers come off. In the mix again.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Mr Trafficanti.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 6 @ 4:12 PM
O'MUDGEE (3) improved his figures at Eagle Farm and then just missed this grade at Mackay. Butler sticks and the mile is no bother. The one to beat. WISE DRAGON (6) missed a nose here this trip spiking his figures. Will use the rail and gets a stack of weight relief. Would be right in it holding the form. CIAO BICKY (8) won that contest and also gets in light. The wide gate makes it trickier today. OLYMPIC KORCHNOI (4) will be around the mark forgiving the latest.
SELECTIONS: Backing O'mudgee.
ALBANY: RACE 2 @ 2:22 PM
I DREAMED A DREAM (9) finished 3.2L away first-up over this course and distance after putting in some much better performances last campaign. Beaten as favourite, he's worth another chance from a good alley and Kyra Yuill in the saddle. Happy to side with him again. HEEZA BEAU (7) makes his debut on his home track after scoring nicely in a recent trial. The second horse from that trial goes around in R1 so we'll have a nice guide heading into this. Looks to have ability and is worth including. SAFE RAPPA (1) got a long way back last start after missing the start. Better than he showed there and is worth another chance. GOOD SONG (4) and HANS CHRISTIAN (5) are both capable of building on sound first-up efforts. SELECTIONS: Backing I Dreamed A Dream.
