Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 21.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Newcastle, Rockhampton and Bairnsdale.
NEWCASTLE: RACE 6 @ 4:20 PM
GALAXY FIELD (10) is a Deep Field filly improving with racing. Much better effort at start two when held on well to run fourth over 1300m at this track on November 4. Should get the right run again and has fitness on her side. EQUIPAGE (8) is a Godolphin filly fitter after one run back. Stalked the speed before tiring late when third over 1200m at Kembla Grange on November 7. Look for her motoring late from the wide gate. HAJRA (11) drifted in betting when resumed for a plugging third over 1200m at Kembla Grange on November 7. Firmer deck helps today and drawn to get the right run. Improver. RAMIUS (13) second-up today after being heavily supported on resumption when a tiring fifth over 1150m at Beaumont (Newcastle) on October 30. Expecting more here with Rachel King on from the inside gate.
SELECTIONS: Galaxy Field to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 4 @ 4:15 PM
PEGGIE BOOM (9) continued a run of top-four finishes when she found the line nicely last start for third over 1200m at this track. That put the writing on the wall and her best results have come at this shorter trip. She is drawn to advantage so can break through. ALIKICK (2) hasn't raced since an easy winner of his maiden in his second outing at this track back in February 2021. Expect he'll be better for the run but has been readied a trial and has shown ability. THE GRADUATE (3) is back after a break of five months and does perform well when fresh. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. DESERT MOON (1) should relish the distance drop having won both attempts at this trip.
SELECTIONS: Peggie Boom to strike.
BAIRNSDALE: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM
VIPSANIA (10) went close this trip resuming and then raced forward over 1200m and ran out of fitness late. Fitter and coming back to a shorter sprint should suit. In a smart metro barn and has upside. I'M OVER DANCING (8) resumes from an inside draw and is a candidate to lead. Was in range most starts her previous preparation and has some gear changes. Any rain about would advantage. BIGCAT (2) raced a short-priced favourite at Echuca on debut and disappointed. The blinkers go straight on and he draws a low barrier. Quick improvement is on the cards. I'M BACK IN TOWN (3) missed a whisker on debut and can build on that.
SELECTIONS: Backing Vipsania.
