Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for September 30.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Tamworth, Wagga, Moe, and Emerald.
TAMWORTH: RACE 3 @ 2:50 PM
ARCTIC LEGEND (2) handy gelding undefeated over this track and trip. Won two-in-a-row last time in and since fitted with two solid trials. Maps well and expected to go close. ALWAYS A SAINT (5) surprised at big odds when sitting on the speed for a gritty nose win over 1100m at Bathurst on September 15. Up slightly in class but gets the 2kg claim again. LORD OF THE SUN (9) trained on the track and backs up quickly after charging late when eighth over 1200m here on September 16. Can race closer from the low draw and looks good each way value. KEITANY (7) in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Arctic Legend to win.

WAGGA: RACE 7 @ 5:40 PM
LETME ENTERTAINYOU (9) progressed nicely through her grades last campaign and lead-up trial suggests she can return with a bang. Booking of Heywood is a good push for her chances. EAST HARLEM (12) chased gamely into a midfield finish when resuming in town at the latest. Easier this time and had Bourke sticking. Main danger. TAVOLO (6) returned with a bang at Queanbeyan when scoring comfortably. Tougher this time but she relishes this trip and has a strong association with Budler in the saddle. Deserves consideration. YAM (10) is ticking along nicely this prep. Faces a tougher assignment but can make his presence felt. ACHESON (3) loves this trip and is drawn well. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Letme Entertainyou to win.
MOE: RACE 2 @ 1:00 PM
SURE THING (4) runs along and second-up was narrowly beaten at Donald over this distance. He was heavily bet and will use the rails gate. Fitter again and is ready to win. MY FRIDAY BEAU (12) was on debut in the same contest and finished a whisker ahead of the above. He's in a leading metro stable and is sure to keep improving. Jumps from an outside barrier today but he has the first-time blinkers applied and may have the gate speed to manage. YORKEL (5) resumed much improved narrowly beaten at Sale over 1415m. That stacks up but an awkward gate is also a drawback. NOT SO COMMON (2) peaks and he has the early tow to clear the outside barrier. The extra metres should be a positive and respect the barn.
SELECTIONS: Backing Sure Thing.
EMERALD: RACE 1 @ 1:42 PM
ENABLER (1) returned to the winners' stall at Mackay at the latest effort and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Is a four-time winner over this sprint trip and should get all the favours in running from the inside marble. Rates the testing material. GROWL (3) is a consistent conveyance hitting the top-five at his past four outings and rarely puts in a poor one. Looms as the main danger. EUPHRATES DREAM (6) has gotten better with each run this time in and gets 1.5kg off with the claim. In the mix. I'M PINKER (8) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Enabler to win again.
