No uncertainty around the Randwick track this weekend it will be a squelching, already a Heavy 10 with more rain expected.

Can't say I often find bets in staying races just not my jam, but I thought the opportunity in the fifth event was hard to ignore.

There are two main form references, the Yggdrasil race and the Caesars Palace race.

Of the nine engaged seven come through those two events leaving The Milkybar Kid and Marakopa with the different form.

The Milkybar Kid won a match race at Warwick Farm last start and prior to that beat home Steplee who struggled at the mid-weeks on Wednesday - he looks horrendously short.

Marakopa won with a leg in the air at this course and distance three back before a touch outclassed in the Brisbane Cup two back.

Returned to Randwick last start and run well when simply unsuited by the sit and sprint affair behind Shameless Miss.

Since kept fresh (28 days), he drops back to Bm72 and Sherry links aboard (26% L50 runners) for the first time.

A line can also be taken through Our Candidate who finished third behind Yggdrasil two back beaten 4.6L.

Marakopa beat Our Canditate by 10.1L three back and after adjusting for the weight swings in Saturday's race, he comes out six lengths ahead of Yggdrasil - he looks a cracking bet at his early quote!

The Maher and Eustace trained Easy Single wasn't given the best steer last start and while still a little niggle at the trip, she looks very well placed in the fourth event.

Currently the 2-1 favourite, she may seem short enough given she started a bigger price in lesser company last start, however it is very easy to pot her opposition.

The Pfieffer trained Rocketing By is first up on a Heavy 10 and has to run a new career peak to win, Enchanted Heart is 0/7 at Randwick and Prime Candidate has to try and buck the trend of the Baker stable (going awful).

That really doesn't leave much for him to beat.
