RACE 1

ENGINE START – Despite still being a non-winner in four starts, this son of Highly Recommended has been very unlucky to not break through for a win yet. This looks a winnable race for him.

MALIBU BEACH – Solid performance carrying 58kg last start to only got down by less than a length. Has proven with big weights already which is a positive sign.

PRODIGAL – Sharp run in Novice company last start, this looks an easier race, must respect.

SUPER GENEROUS – Last start winner who blew them away with blinkers on first time. Steps up to 1400m but could have turned a corner, keep safe.

RACE 2

GOLD CUT – Posted a real slick time for a maiden galloper in a recent trial almost breaking the minute. Looks in fine order for strong first up run this weekend.

SHANGHAI STAR – Has some serious form in behind the runner up of the 3YO Sprint two starts back. Last start ran a great race to run a place once again. Big chance.

ROCKY – El Roca gelding stepping out for first run in Singapore. Not much to go off but must respect the stable and connections.

KRANJI JEWEL – Severely checked at a crucial stage in the race last start but closed off well, nevertheless. A good run from him here wouldn't surprise going off previous two starts to date, keep safe.

RACE 3

ANGEL HALO – Boasts a superb mile record on the poly and gets back up to his pet distance this weekend for the 24th time in his career. Looks the one to beat on paper.

FLAMING KIRIN – Yet to win in 31 starts but has caught the eye on a number of occasions, especially last start. This looks like a tougher field but off his recent form he could surprise.

BEBOP – Prefer this son of Rock N Pop over 1700m as his form suggests he needs that extra 100m. In a race like this though that falls away, he could still figure in the finish.

ENDLESS – Stable are low level flying at the moment. Getting on now in his career this eight-year-old but strikes an easier field than he has contested in recent runs.

RACE 4

SPEEDY MISSILE – Ultra consistent galloper in his last few starts. Needs a solid tempo up front to aid his chances but with a little bit of luck he is the one they must beat.

FORTUNE CHANGER – Racing first up this weekend since October where he finished second to Saturno Spring. A few trials should have him fit for a race like this.

EIGHT BALL – All of his career wins so far have been on the Polytrack but don't let that record throw you off. He has caught the eye in a few starts on this surface and looks a multiples player.

UNCONQUERED – A five-time winner here who holds nice form lines to warrant a top four spot. Last start was held up at a crucial stage and should have a better run this time around.

RACE 5

ON LINE – Went down as favorite last start but meets and easier line up on paper this time around. Should settle positively and switches back to the Polytrack. Big player here.

ETWAS NEUES – Wanted to over race in the early stages last start and didn't help his chances. Still hit the line for a minor placing and must be respected in a field of this depth.

KING LOUIS – Has been a while since his last win but in the last twelve months has been performing very honestly in this grade and will be hitting the line strongly at the business end of the race.

GOLD KINGDOM – Rises up in class after a victory in class five a few weeks ago. Although his class four record isn't that strong me meets a middle range field where his best can see him figure.

RACE 6

GLOBAL SPIRIT – Caught the eye last start making up a stack of ground late. Winner has franked the form running another strong race, big chance.

HENG XING – Hard horse to follow as he requires a hot tempo to storm from the back late. Richard Lim has a nice hand in this race, stable worth following here.

SUNDAY – Getting down to a winnable mark again. Should be breaking through for his third career win in the next few starts. One to follow.

PISCA PISCA – She has been disappointing in her last few starts but holds a 50%-win strike race over the short course 1400m, respect.

RACE 7

CENTURION – Copped a bump after the start and managed to place fourth over an unsuitable trip last start. Will appreciate the rise in distance and meets a very level field here.

SUPER ATAS – Holds nice career stats over this course and distance including a win and a third from three attempts. Representing our leading stable who is low flying and must be considered here.

GOD'S GIFT – Seems to keep running honest races at his last few starts. With the right run-in transit, he could be hitting the line strongly and this is one of the easier fields he has met for a while.

SUN PALACE – Just the one win in his career here and has run some cheeky races at this distance. Could be late support so watch any market moves before the start.

RACE 8

FROM THE NAVY – Finds himself in the lighter division of this race and brings winning form. He is a four-time winner over the course and distance and looks hard to beat here.

WEBSTER – Was aided by a nice ride from an apprentice having his first race ride and boxed on solidly to finish second behind Stenmark. Very nice form and looks to favor dropping back in class.

I AM SACRED – Made all the running up front last start to just box away and finish third beaten just under four lengths. He is off the same handicap rating that saw him win in May of last year.

MONTANA FLASH – Didn't fire a shot in the Group Three Sprint last start but should find dropping back to class four a big advantage. Looks a horse with some ability judging from his debut run.

RACE 9

FOUNTAIN OF FAME – Unlucky not to win last time out and gets quite a weight swing on Northern Sun. Should be hard to beat.

NORTHERN SUN – Has the winning form on the board and must be respected once again. Came from a long way back and had to loop most of the field, big threat.

GRAND FIGHTER – Hasn't been far off his last couple, a likely speed influence in the race. Should be in the right part of the field at the turn to strike. A must include in the numbers.

DECRETO – Another horse in the field who should appreciate a hot tempo. Getting on in its career now but hasn't been getting beaten far its last few, keep safe.

RACE 10

PROSPEROUS RETURN – Comes into this race fresh after winning but also bleeding at his recent run. Last trial indicated he is ready to run a big race first up.

SPIRIT OF BIG BANG – Likes to get back and charge home running good sectionals when he does so. Caught the eye with a nice second placing behind King Arthur and the rise in distance looks a positive.

SACRED GIFT – Although his best performances have come on the Polytrack there was a lot to like about his run behind King Arthur on the turf last run and nice form in recent runs. Can improve.

NEPEAN – Does his best racing over this distance and should strip fitter for a race like this. Former Group two winner who just needs some rain to boost his chances.

RACE 11

GREATHAM GIRL – Caught the eye with a fast finishing second placing behind Water Rocket in similar conditions last start. Clocked the quickest final sectional in 23.07 and looks a big danger.

HAMAMA – Best career stats so far for this lightly raced mare have come over this distance. Liked the way she won her trial last week and should have her spot on for this event. Should be positive from a nice barrier.

LIM'S KNIGHT – Should be positive from barrier four and race somewhere handy off the pace. Holds a strong record over the distance and must be respected as a top four contender.

ROCKETSHIP – Does her best racing on the synthetic surface and is yet to finish outside of the top four in four runs at this distance. If she flies out of the barriers, she could give them all something to chase.
