Morphettville Parks Races Review on 17th July 2022

Deciding to try his luck in SA Jockey Jason Benbow made a good start when he rode Spanish Heirloom to a win in the 1000 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Being first up after a spell the Travis Doudle trained Spanish Heirloom  led all the way.

Showing a liking for the Parks surface Bolt By took out the 1550 metre second race.

Being under the care of Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas the Jason Holder guided Bolt By  came from a midfield position to finish the race off strongly.

The three-year-old gelding Oh Mo broke a long run of outs when he took out the 1250 metre thi4d race.

Having the services of Barend Vorster the Sam Burford prepared Oh Mo came from midfield with a rails-run to win.

The Todd Pannell ridden Zoulah landed her second win in succession in the 1400 metre fourth race.

Being under the care of will Clarken Zoulah was seen running on strongly from a worse than midfield position.

Jason Benbow brought up his second winner for the afternoon when He's Heaven won the listed Oaklands Plate which was run over 1800 metres.

Prepared at Pakenham by Peter Moody and racing for just the second time He's Heaven led all the way.

Coming off a sixth at his previous start Jaguary gave jockey Jason Benbow his third winner for the day in the 1950 metre fifth race.

Giving trainer Travis Doudle his second winner for the day Jaguary came from a near last position with a sharp run late in the event.

Living up to her recent good form of a third and two wins Calla Dream took out the 1000 metre seventh race.

Ridden by Ryan Hurdle and jointly trained by Ron Daniel and Trish Stanbury Calla Dream raced in a forward position to bring up her fourth win from twelve starts.

In murky conditions Litchfield County gave trainer Will Clarken his second winner for the day in the 1000 metre eighth race.

Having the services of apprentice Ben Price Litchfield County came from a better than midfield position to run down Mr Have A Chat in his last stride.

The trainer of the moment Garret Lynch won his second race in four days when his charge Maid in Milan won the 1300 metre final event.

Winning her second race in succession the apprentice Stacey Metcalfe ridden Maid in Milan came with a rails run from a good position.
